Technique Tuning Stage 2 Results (CA 91 octane edition)

So as some of you may of heard, Nick was in town and he decided to do a little custom tuning for me. So we went over to Edge Motorworks and did a couple hours of dyno runs/tweaking. In the end, the car pulled 410whp and 392trq @ 13psi on 91 octane! It's just so fast, I can't even begin to explain the rush/feeling it gives when I floor it. It literally pushes your whole body against the seat. Not to mention the car no longer has any traction in the first 3 gears. I couldn't be happier.

A HUGE thanks to Nick for taking some time off his vacation to tune the car. I really apperciate it. Also, a big thanks to Edge for the Pizza!

So, is that with a stock exhaust and lowered compression?

True, but you had an SC to hold you over!

At least I have a honeymoon with my big brake kit for a few months.

With my SC kit... it was almost better not to have it

it'll will be worth the wait... are you going with the 60-1 or the GT35? Have you decided yet?

    Nice numbers!

Im little confused did u upgrade to a stage 2? What's included in a stage 2 upgrade? Price?

I thought Stg.2 would be pushing at least 450whp.

I don't see what the big difference is, considering he said he can't even get traction in the first three gears.

How are you dealing with CARB/smog?

    Just paying someone off?

    Nice numbers for CA gas.

edit: How much did you lower compression with just a head gasket?

Wow, this is shocking news. Well congrats on the #'s, very impressive. I can put together some very good races with ure m3 if u ever in the area now that u have those #'s jade. a friend has a twin turbo 350z it would be nice to see how you do against them. No harsh feelings since now your car is as fast as I suspect

nick is one hell of a guy when it comes to taking care of his customers...... hes such a good guy that this experience doesnt even surprise me! bump for awesome results, an awesome car, and an awesome tuner!

was there any reason you chose to tune it to 91 vs 93? is 91 just more available than 93 on the west coast?

91 is pretty much all that is available here in CA. You can find 100 for $4+/gal at some local 76 Stations though.

    Does it come with cats?

Can you run a high flow cat through it to pass emissions???

There is no way he will be able to pass emissions legally, even with a high flow cats here in cali. Even if he passes the visual I doubt hell have any chance on passing emissions with his new tunning/mods.

Nice numbers especially on 91 octane, congrats over the 400rwhp and good torque.

Jade or Nick would u mind posting the dyno graph.

Nick I thought that your kit already comes with 42 lbs ?

Are u using the same intake or a larger low level ?
