    sneak preview...Thanks Danzio Performance!!!

    I just wanted to thank Danzio Performance for helping me out with my ongoing project. and thanks to Cameron (highboostingm3) for reffering me to Chris!
    I think Chris might just be one of the best tuners on this side of the US!

    dyno (mustang, a realtime dyno) plots coming soon, but for now here are some pics:

    GT3540r

    another...

    first one to get the new turbonetics manifold! Looks like a tubular and look how much space there is between the turbo and motor mount!

    Just doing some simple stuff for now... stay tuned for the big stuff

    Turbonetics has a new manifold? Is it cast or tubular like Boostlogic? Please post pics.

    Nice.

    yeah they do, it is still cast but looks very much like a tubular. Ill try to post some pics, its good because it sets the positioning of the turbo a bit farther back for intake room w/o having to modify the motor mount. Ill try to get pics

    Does the new turbonetics manifold have an external wastegate provision already built in?

    Congrats, when is she due, and what are you going to try to push out of her?

    Any pics of the manifold? The placement of the turbo looks like their normal manifold to me.

    2 more I got for you. I'll see if the manifold can come off so we can get some pics of it. It's as if they made a tubular and then made a cast of that!

    No new motor mount is needed for GT3540R 4" intake opening due to the new turbo placement of the Turbonetics manifold!

    If that is the case, from the picture it looks like your discharge pipe is going to be VERY low. I know your car is low as it is so be carefull...

    It does look lik eyour turbo is angled significantly though?

    From this picture the downpipe actually had to come down lower to meet up with the exhaust piping. So actually the other pictures might be an optical illusion. See how high up the turbo is from the oil pan? Compare that too most of the pics you see with other turbo setups on these cars. The tuner Chris said that this new Turbonetics exhaust manifold actually holds the turbo higher than the old Turbonetics manifold design, hence eliminating the oil drain problem many guys have with other exhaust manifolds.

    im not looking for much power right now, just decent reliable power. In a few weeks when I get the chance to get used to this new turbo, then I will bring it back for more power!

    But with all these pics of the piping etc, where are the pics of the NEW turbonetics manifold

    Trying to get tuner to take it all off for a sec and take pics of manifold. Hope he didn't bolt it on completely already.

    Motor = 2.8L
    CR = 10.0:1
    Long Block = stock
    WI = Aquamist

    Probably boost 9-10 PSI until Phase II.

    Huraaaay another 2.8 some people underestimate these motors.
    Mine is all stock no over bore or head work and the last dyno was 502rwhp.
    It is running right now at 19psi I have not taken it to the track at this boost
    as soon as weather breaks I will.Your car makes me jealuos it is sweeeet
    I wish I would have gotten the 2 door but I did not even think about modding it when I purchased it.
    Get some pictures of the manifold on or off the car I might have to get one.

    As far as what he told me, it's a stock long block I believe. That may change though.
