AA Stg II M Coupe build up...

Just starting to get my feet wet...

AA Stg II turbo package arrived today and I managed to hang a couple of the bits. I had some concerns about clearance issues for the intercooler and piping; looks like they were largely taken care of with the supplied electric fan, rack mounted power steering fluid cooler and revised righthand engine mount.

    More to come...

Only temporarily, this Coupe lives in Minnesota. The car came in for the differential mount upgrade and stayed for a little performance makeover.

There's been lots of visitors (2 M Rdstrs & 3 M Coupes) to the Forbes' garage lately, also known as Sports Cars Plus, LLC.

The converted 20g/60-1 needs the motor mount b/c of the off-set of the manifold that sits the turbo in a lower position, compared to the Turbonetic's manifold used on the TT kit, that has fitment for the turbo to located abit higher.

You might want to wait until I get this one (maiden voyage) done first

I expect I would be less expensive than most shops, due to a much lower overhead. I wouldn't even pretend to be an expert though, you'd have to be going with an approved & coordinated package and I could install it.

To be truly cost effective, I would presume you're located near Toledo, Ohio...?

of course.... The reason you probably didnt recognize them is that on most M3s, they are black, and covered with grease and oil from the notoriously leaky lines.
