I rented my fender roller from www.rollyourfender.com or something like that. He's local but his fender roller had some issues. The nut on the back of the bar was stripped so everytime you went to push out it would back off. I rigged it but that didn't last long. If he fixed that issue then it should be fine to use. It was $50 to rent and $300 deposit. Lonestar charges like $180 to rent or something and Autoscope will roll your fenders for $100/per I think.

No baseball bats on an E36....that's for E30's. Get a dead blow hammer. Jack the car/stands and pull the wheels. Look inside the fender lip and you will see a 45 degree lip on the very inside edge. Take a heat gun and heat the inside of the fender. Take your dead blow and tap that lip to a vertical position. You'll pickup 1/4" inch and that will be all you need. Don't wail on the lip or you may crack the outside paint. Do not bend the two horizontal sections of fender where they come together...do only the 45 degree lip. 5 minutes per

just rent the tool lol. Heat the fenders up good and its pretty easy to use.

The tool is easy to use and pretty safe with a heat gun. I rolled my rear fenders a few months ago and I haven't had any paint problems.
BTW, I rolled the fenders to the point that it pulled them out a little. Funny how I never ended using the race tires that I did the rolling for.

Sorry about the tool problem...
I thought I fixed it but oh well. I have a new shaft for the broken piece and tool is working at full power now! Ready to roll some more fenders  You can even make a flare wide body if you want :P hinzm3, Let me know if you need it again. Sorry about the bad experience man. Haha..
That's right.. Some people roll the fenders when there's a fender rolling day just to save the cost but never bought the wider tires But hey.. it's better than paying $50 when doing it yourself, rite?
