    Good sounding non ricey mufflers...

    Just wondering if anyone makes any mufflers or catback exhausts for 328is's that arent stupid looking and that sound good.

    Eisenmanns are nice looking-compact design (fits well) and has a nice tone. Aggressive sounding but not loud like a UUC, Borla or Rogue Engineering. Also very light too!
    What would Crockett and Tubbs do?

    AA Gen3. Might as well cover them all, it's really personal preference. I'd say it's better to hear as many as you can in person before purchasing.

    get uuc if you want your car to sound like mustang GT
    get eisenmann if you want it to sound like an R32
    get SS if you want your car to sound like a bmw
    get AA if you want your car to sound like rice down low and a ferrari up top

    After installing a new auto tranny in my 91 535, I took it around the area with no exhaust. Just the mid-section, nothing after that..

    It was sweet!! I went about 5-6 blocks from my house, when I got back my dad was yelling at me.
    "Sounded like a fucking jet, I heard you way back there!!" then 5 mins later 2 cops was driving around the area.. Lucky I parked it in the backyard

    The M30 535i engine is the sweetest sounding engine with no exhaust..

    back on topic, I like the Stromung best..

    Sound is personal preference. All the above are of good quality. I think Eisenmann is sweet if you have the cash (which I don't), I just like the looks/sound/quality.

    I love my Dinan personally... had it up next to my buddy's GTO and it has an equal, if not lower rumble at idle than his. Not to mention the ease of setting off the alarms on riced-out civics as I drive by.

    Not in my experience. I had a riced out Saturn pass me one day. At the stoplight I pulled up behind him and gave a nice rev. He gave me a thumbs down. I was suprised that he could hear my exaust (stock with several holes) over his fart can an massive stereo.
