thanks in advance
How easy is it to swap bumpers. Keep in mind I have no mechanical experience what so ever, just alot of common sense.
anyone have an idea where I can find the trim or bumper mouldings?
im wondering where i can buy these parts! not install. thanks.
I was gonna say, I don't think anyone read your question.Originally Posted by kennasbimmer

plus prep & paint = ~1000 total i'd guess?
hmmmmmmmm
It's fiberglass...........Originally Posted by luckytopher
not understanding what difference that would make? fiberglass still has to be prepped (uneven spots, highs/lows) and painted...Originally Posted by bimmerboy328i
Fiberglass is garbage, i got one, and it sucks... I regret every moment of it.

i got my bumper here

its urethane which is a lot better than fiberglass and a little cheaper than abs plastic, the urethane flexes, the only downside to urethane that i know of is that it has oils in it that has be cleaned out very well before painting.

try racerwheel.com and/or andysautosport.com because they sell m3 kits (front, rear, side skirts, everything) for a really good price but the only draw back is that i dont know if it is fiberglass, plastic, etc... but you can just give them a call good luck
Anyone have any other places? Preferably ones with ABS plastic. I just messed up my rear bumper and I need a new one.
Check the vendor/group purchases area. I just bought one for $300 made out of poly carbon or something. Very light weight and strong. He is a really good guy and will get to you pronto.

Whatever you do dont buy a fiberglass one, ive had to repaint mine twice now, and it def shouldnt take 8-10 hours to switch one, it takes me an hour tops if im going slow

These guys are cheap and I heard the bumper fits like a glove.
yeah, what about ddm? Are they fibergalss or abs? They seem to be cheap and thats what iv been leaning towards when i get the money.
Save your money for a plastic one, the fiberglass likes to spider out and crack, i've spent 375 just to paint it twice now,
DDM, Their prices can't be beat, customer service is good, and I believe that the ones that they sell are abs plastic.
