das, don't forget OZM, he has like 469 rwhp and his track times were like 11.7 at 126, so he has me beat in both categories!

And my max rwhp comes at 6500 rpm, max torque at 4400 rpm.

That S54 time was 12.56 at 109.1 mph.

For N/A times, put in my car stock, 13.89 at 99.5 mph on OEM tires, and 13.65 at 99.1 on Drag Radials.

    300 ft-lbs torque

But, I don't wanna use these numbers because they suck until I can get a better dyno run with the broken in stage 2. Oh well, I guess these will do for now. Ick.

Also, does a dyno 1/4 mile simulation of 12.7 count or is that too lame? It was done with the Stage 1 kit. Just wondering.

    Silverstreak,

How did you run a 12.5 in that S54 roadster? Was that stock? or with mods? And which mods did you have?

You guys should also post what dyno those numbers were obtained on to make things a little clearer. For example, if OZM were to take his car onto a Dynojet (which I assume is what most of you have measured your cars on), his car would probably make about 550 to the wheels . Now all we need is more timeslips for some of these cars

willy, a 3er will always have th advantage on the freeway due to aerodynamics... ESPECIALLY if the top is down.

and when dave drives... its not really fair.

i think we need to find dynojet for OZM3 to test his car on. But I don't think a dynojet can produce enough load to maintain maximum boost.
Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by hundreds of engineers that get paid thousands of dollars for something you bought at Pep Boys because your buddy who doesn't have a job told you it was 'better'?!?

and cubed.... I am almost certain that most of these were on dynojets... and I was under the impression that OZM's were as well.

we will have many, many timeslips after the meet in august.

Sorry, I missed this thread for a while....

All my #'s were on a Mustang Dyno as well...

M Powered the S54 M Roadster I got a 12.56 in was stock and on OEM tires, I did take out the passenger seat, 1/8th tank of gas, 100 octane, rear tires at 24 psi if I recall, fronts near 55 psi, launching at 5500 rpm, at Atco last June on a cool 60-65 degree night, sea level track, cool, dry, night with a 1.85 60' time if I remember correctly...

321.2 rwhp, 290.3 rwtq ok if we do the Mustang figure it comes to 421hp and a 380 tq in a 3000 pound car is still far from breaking 11's . Let's get real and do it dyno style 389 hp and 350 tq which is a surprise if he break's 12's . A BMW SCed car is not going to run 11's unless he has some crazy boost and work done . I forgot he need's to be one of the best shifters out also . I say it cant be done and he's a flake .....

from Lou.. damn he does sound angry..

you'd do a lot better if you borrowed daves drag-radials...

those 19s have GOT to be dragging you down... (although I suspect they are lighter than those monsters you just got rid of)

I really didnt feel much of a difference from the 18 to 19s.. but I probably didnt make a huge weight change. Altho the MVRs do feel a lil heavier. But either way.. i still can take on the majority of the cars on the road.

If I was seriously racing I would put on a set of track wheels.. bill has a set of Kosei (sp?) with R compounds i can probably borrow..

the r compounds will probably be WORSE on the strip (if that is what you were talking about) because the compound takes much longer to heat up usually (autox tires are not as bad)... and they usually are not soft on the side-wall like a drag-tire. and did you mention whay tires you are running???

    Willy,
Dude- Your car is simply amazing.
The new rims- the brakes all of it. I should have given you my black M seats to complete the deal.. But the car is so hot...
