I've agonized over this decision for a long time now...and I've finally come to realize it's time to sell my car and move onto another M3. This is a "feeler", of sorts, but should I get what I think it's worth, the car is gone...
The Specs:
1998 Cosmos Black on Black, 45K, all factory options except rear spoiler.
Below is a list of mods:
AA CAI with cover
AA Gen. III Exhaust
----------
X-Brace
AA Strut Brace
----------
ZKW Euro Ellipsoids
Euro Clear indicators all around
----------
Rogue SSK with WSR
UUC Big Boy Clutch Stop
----------
UUC RKII Special Edition Polished knob
UUC matching e-brake
e46 Aluminum pedals and dead pedal
99 M3 3-Spoke wheel
----------
AC Schnitzer 3-piece lip spoiler
Color matched rear diffuser
Color matched grill surrounds
Color matched front lip spoiler
----------
35% tint all around
Prestige Alarm System with motion and glass sensors and Battery Backup Siren.
----------
Set of 5 Polished LTW wheels
Other details:
Car is mechanically sound and runs strong. Inspection I was performed about 1 year ago, at which time all fluids were replaced. Plugs changed to NGKs as well. Mobil 1 synthetics changed every 3 to 4000 miles.
Front and Rear rotors and pads were recently changed (less than 300 miles old). Brembo fronts, Zimmerman rears and Axxis Ultimates all around.
Front Pilot Sports have 2500 miles on them, Rears have 750 miles. Plenty of tread life remaining.
Meticulously maintained with regular waxing and rarely driven in inclement weather. Only the best products used...P21S, Vanilla Moose, Poorboys Ex-P, Megs, and only quality Micro Fiber towels.
Car is located in Southern New York State. I'm in no particular rush to sell, so I'll wait out what I think it's worth. I'd rather not get into discussion of pricing in the thread, because we know where that always leads. If you have a legit offer, PM or email me. Low-ballers...save it! I'm more than willing to accomodate anyone with shipping the car, etc. But I do prefer a local sale so the buyer can see the car themselves.
I will NOT be parting the car out, so please..no inquiries about my rims. I would consider selling the car stock, however, if the offer is right. Based on that, I have two price ranges in mind. My preference is actually TO SELL IT STOCK...but again, I'm NOT parting it out. The mods would go on my next e36 M3.

I know this car well, and when Chris told me he wanted to sell it I almost passed out! Why? Because, this is the car everybody thinks of when they want to buy THE Purrrrrfect used car!
As fastidiuos and meticulous as I am about mine, Im a mere piker when compared to Chris.. His car is the cleanest sample of a previously owned M3 Ive ever seen, bar none!
Whoever winds up with this car is going to be one very lucky M3 owner!

To anyone interested, I've tried to convince Chris NOT to sell his car... it's SOO beautiful and nice.
I don't know what he's asking, but whatever it is, it's wroth every penny. It's not all too easy these days to find an E36 in such pristine condition.
Boris
P.S. Chris, don't sell!!

Chris,
The car looks to be extremely well cared for and maintained. There are soooooo many beat, tired, mistreated used M3's out on the market. Thankfully yours is not one of them!!!! Good luck with the sale.
BUMPAGE for a sweeet clean m3
Thanks terry...coming from an enthusiast with an M3 like you have, that's nice praise..Originally Posted by tlp-96M3/2
