Will the M3 Diffuser bolt up to the non-M rear bumper on my 325? I am thinking about getting one but would like to be sure that it will fit before I order one, would it fit onto the same mounting points as the plastic non-diffuser type peice on my exhisting bumper? Thanks in advance.
If i remember reading it on another thread the answer is No. they are different.
Anyone else?
You can't use the stock one because they are different. I've heard that you can trim the sides to make it fit but Bavarian also sells one made to fit your car. Check out their site, I think that'd be a safer bet.
Thanks ryan, yeh i saw the one at bavauto.com for the non-M but there are real ones for sale for cheaper. BTW, whos the ass in your avatar man? Damn hot.
Yeah, $130 for that piece is a bit much in my opinion. I'm sure with a little work you can get the stock one to fit and save some money.Originally Posted by BimmerE36

do you have a picture of her face that actually looks like a good freind of mine lol
I just bought this from a bimmerforum member.
He modified a M3 one to fit the stock E36.

I haven't gotten it yet, but I figured for $50 I would take a chance that I like it enough to not spend $300 for a E36 addon lip or even a whole new bumper.
Maybe you can try to contact him to see how he did it.
Also, if you think your interested in it, PM me contact info. if I don't like it I will be selling it in the next week or two.
I was referring to the rear diffuser, but Im actually also considering getting a front lip for my lux front bumper. Too bad that doesnt fit the M front, $50 is a good price.
Dont you have an M3 front bumper? Just by the M3 lip from somone, or even better, get LTW splitters.
As for the diffuser, no it won't fit. The mounting holes don't line up and I think you have to trim some of it. I don't like the one from bavauto because it sticks out far, buts thats my opinion. Ask Preppy about the diffuser modifying. I think he did and got it to work somehow.

The stock M3 rear diffuser will not fit on a non-M3 car. You are better off getting the M3 knockoff diffuser from bavauto.com and save the hassle of cutting up and trying to mod the M3 diffuser. I purchased it last yr from bavauto.com. No issues mounting it. Took 10-15 mins.
