5 Series (E12, E28, E34, E39, E60, E61) From the very beginning the 5 Series has had cutting edge styling with leading edge performance. Comfortable on a plush drive, or capable in a performance setting, the 5 Series has always done it all. From the Sedan, to the Touring, to the Beast known as the ///M5, there is a reason that 5 Series owners are the most steadfast enthusiasts of the brand.

Talking DTM Wiper Measurments....DIY

I have recieved several PM for this. I think that it would be easier to just give the dimensions for the adjustment to the arm. The measurments came from an actual ACS DTM Linkage. What you will need to do is goto a BMW pick-n-pull and get an e34 wiper arm transmission. Take the driverside link arm off and find a good machine shop. What they will need to do is pop the press fit ball joint out from the top end( Passengerside) and lengthen it so the overall length of the new link is 15cm. Then make sure that when the Pivot ball back in it is the same distance from the end and the driver side pivot. Also remember to have the center point cut off just below the gearing and then polished. It is pretty simple. Should run about 1-1 1/2 hr labor for the job. The cost of $80 that I quoted was for a completely new machined link from scratch. So if you want to to this that is all it takes.

If you have any question please ask! I hope that I explained it well enough
PLEASE IF YOU DO DO THIS MOD BE CAREFUL WHEN ADJUSTING THE BLADE LEAVE YOU HOOD UP AND TEST THE POSITIONS.m IF YOU GET IT TO HIGH UP IT WILL HIT THE HOOD. BEST IS SO THE WIPER ARM IS AT 90 DEGREES TO THE HOOD. THEN MOVE THE WIPER MOTOR ARM TO RAISE IT A COUPLE OF DEGREES.THIS WILL ALLOW FOR EVEN COVERAGE ON BOTH SIDES.

OR YOU CAN ADJUST IT ON THE WIPER MOTOR TO SIT AT A 12 O'CLOCK POSITION LIKE SOME HAVE ASKED ABOUT.
