    Made him famous (honda vtec)

    Ok,
coming home from work 202 mahwah Nj.. this civic 2000ish is
right in front of me until we hit 208. It's a 65mph highway so
I usually hit it to about 75 until it turns back to 55mph.

This fool comes up behind me on my bumper instant
race!! I hit it and start to pull away from him.. he comes
up on me slow.. Im only doing about 80mph just to see if
he wanted it. I pull in the right lane (2 lane highway) hazard on.

He flies pass me doing about 80-90 mph, while Im still doing about
75mph.. I let him get about 5-6 cars ahead then I hit it WOT.. (w/bad vanos)
I come pass him doing 110-120 wide open until I run into traffic..he's about
    7 cars back now..
right lane hazard.. I slow down to about 80 and he's at it again....
same situation...Now he's about 10 cars back because Im doing 110-120
    with traffic..

Civics can be "quick" but up top they are garbage!!!

Corporations have been enthroned, an era of corruption will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people, until the wealth is aggregated in a few hands, and the republic is destroyed." - Abraham Lincoln.

You do know that the 2000 Civic Si is a 160hp 111lbs/ft 1.6L engine, right??

Either way, sounds like the Civic driver was driving like an azz.

Civics can be made fast by dropping K20, H22, B20 Hybrids, B18 hybrids or turboed motors. Civics are not fast with just bolt-ons. They need engine swaps, at the very least.

Race a Civic with an RSX motor and bolt-ons. Then let us know how you did.

I ran a Civic at the drag strip. Doubled his trap speed. He trapped at 66mph.

Ok.. I will just say this.

just a few weeks ago at the track..... I saw about 10 civics do between
13.5-12.5... and half of them looked stock.

What times does our cars run with Mods 13.9-13.7??? e36 M3

Anyway dont get it twisted like I was bragging, because I respect
any car no matter who makes it, because you never know until
    you pop the hood!!

I realize a lot of BMW guys dont hangout at the race track, but for
does that do.. know a civic is far from a punk in the right hands..

Off topic. In your sig Brad, you have 400++rwhp but only manage 13.2?

only in the world of civics is a engine swap considered a basic upgrade

like ive said in other threads, getting a 2300lb vehicle to go fast isnt impressive

HAHAHA, if knowing my Hondas makes me a rice monster....then I guess I am one.

I know how hard it is for some of you guys to believe that a 2.0L 200hp Honda engine with only bolt-ons can keep up with, and even beat the all mighty E36 M3. That's why I like them so much.

I was at the dragstrip this past weekend to hang out with some fellow BMW enthusiasts. I saw a new V6 Accord with slicks run a 14 flat. None of the E36 M3's could touch that time.

E36 M3 performance isn't what it used to be. That's 2 Honda engines that can perform as well as the E36 M3 motor. Get used to it.

Watch out, I am going to make my 89 240SX perform better than a modded E36 M3, too. Hell, I'll make it perform better than the E46 M3.....and I will do it all for less than $7000....including the cost of the car. I'll post a few kill stories just for you. HAHAHAHAHA.

Actually I think his last run was a 13.9. That was pretty damn cool. I was impressed.

These guys probably wouldn't believe the semi that pulled a 15.5 though, unless it was a BMW powered one.

What would Crockett and Tubbs do?
