    Armerall is totall crap?

I know big name brands like these get hated on and said that they ruin the paint/lether..

Is there any truth to this?
I use it all the time along witht he cleaner and it
    claims to

    Protect & Shine
    Guard Against UV Damage
    Protects Against Discoloration And Cracking.

Basicly why do people say Armorall is totall Sh*t?
Why is Lexxol or whatever so much better?
    Thanks.

armor all and similar products are just for the average joe. they will work fine if you want an "okay job." if you are happy using them, then use them. A lot of people want to use higher quality products though that will keep their cars lasting longer. I notice the difference between armorall and other products so i use higher quality stuff. that's just me though. supposedly armor all cracks your dash too. I don't really know if it's true but i do know that armor all is really greasy and nasty.

I inadvertently got some on my bike seat and nearly slid off when backing the bike to turn around in the driveway.

Leaves the vinyl interior trim with a sickening gloss not to mention it dries it out.
    Quit using it years ago.

How does it dry it out?

Original Armor All is now water based and has been for some time now. I personally don't use it on the dash because it doesn't have a very high SPF resin amount, 303 by far has the highest resin amount. I do use Armor All for tires because it is a good water based dressing, which is important because petroleum based products can lead to premature cracking/drying.

IMHO, armorall is Ok stuff, but it is way too slippery for my taste, plus it has a weird smell that I don't like. Leatherique and Vinylex are higher quality and keep the leather and vinyl looking better over time.

I saw a study where Lemon Pledge beat Armor All, but that was a long time ago and not sure if it was the new water based stuff.

NO accident...just slippery as hell. Made sure never to let my seat go without checking in the future.

Is that because you just don't like the shine it gives or how long it lasts?

I just want to get something clear...
Armerall won't hurt my Viynle in any way?
I've never used anything else so I can't really say
it's good or not, but it works for me..

Unless armorall has change the formula then I looks great but over time and in hot condition actually promotes cracking of rubber, vinyl and plastic. Why you ask....because it actually draws moisture from the them...Shit can it and use something water based and that has a UV protectant...303

It is like the Chinese..how can a billion people be wrong...everyone is using 303
