Who is interested in a cf hood and decklid for E34?

Ok I'm testing the waters here... who among us would seriously buy a cf hood and or decklid for their E34's? I know of a couple of quality outfits that would build them if the demand was right.

    .
For a cf hood, can you get it painted, or does that defeat the purpose?

    What's wrong with Erebuni?

Yes you can get them painted and erebuni's quality sucks.

I'm very interested in a hood if the qualities right. I'm trying to get the car "show and shine" worthy so i can enter it in october and rep for IXD. I'm interested.

yea, some people get their stuff painted. but a lot of people like the actual look of carbor fiber, so they just leave it clear coated.

I would be interested also. We need to shave as much weight as we can from our e34's.

What if the prices were to be $499 shipped for a hood and $499 shipped for a deck lid?

Considering the fact that a good quality hood for any other car costs that or more i would say so.

VIS sells there e36 CF hoods for like $450 i believe, and the quality of these is just as good, or better. Product details to be released soon.

if i had about a month and a half from now to save up i would be in for that price as long as a) hood is for wide grille and b) quality is up to par.

i'll try. i would at least be able to do the hood in a month. and when you are talking about the decklid are you talking about the entire trunk? just want to be sure we are on the same page.

from what i've seen, the quality looks like it would be good. it's full cf, not an overlay.

$499 shipped seems to be a pretty good price.

When i say deck lid i mean the whole trunk.
You guys can see the quality here:
    http://www.qeiracing.com/carbonfiber.php

Let's do the Hood GB first and when we get our 10+ people we'll talk about the trunks.
    How does that sound people?

Yea, and the weight loss will be substantial.
That's what i was thinking to nication(whats your name if you don't mind me asking).
We get the hoods and if there good, we get the trunks. Let's get this done as soon as possible. So he can start making them.....
    I'll start for the hoods:

    1) Olek Migdalski, 1995 525i. Wide Grill.
