X3, X5 & X6 (E53, E70, E71, E83) (2000 - current) BMW invented a new word when they introduced their SUVs to the world: Sport Activity Vehicle. Sportier and with more car like agility than the standard SUV, with all of the hauling perks for a more active lifestyle. Introduced in 1996, the X5 continues to be a hit. The younger sibling, the X3, was born in 2003.

I will be back at the brunches as soon as i get my 3 running better. (it still runs..but the shocks and brakes are shot, im running three different rims on the car, and plus the turbo still isnt tuned correctly)
Actually i sold the X to an ex-GF
and im just searching for another new car. (if i had a choice...i would love to build the E46 M3 with a turbo ... but im sure i would get a lot of flames for tearing apart an already awesome car) so...i guess i will wait and see until the end of the year for new cars to come out.

your in luck, the east coast guys/gals are having there 4th meet and it is going to be a very very big deal, BMWNA will be there and there will be talk of having a X5 homecoming, like the Z3 guys and gals have, so if you can get to this meet, definetly try, this is history in the making.......also a national X5 meet is in the future.

here is the link for all the info, Alpina22 and TommyX are the organizers.

East Meet IV

Katt

Thanks for the plug about the meet this Saturday. As you can see, I'm pushing to make this meet big. As of Wed Feb 6th, we had a headcount in excess of 30 people so we're in good shape but the more people who participate the better.

Palmnut is doing the next east coast meet in the spring and then hopefully if we have enough interested parties, a nationwide meet in Chicago this summer.

Here's the link again for everyone else:
http://www.chooha.com/bmw/eastmeet.htm

Peace
