Question Do I need new strut tower mounts for my coilover install?

Hey, I'm getting ready to install my H&R coilovers and I have been hearing that I should also replace my strut tower mounts. I already have some ground control rear shock mounts that I'm going to put on during the install. But, is this also true for the strut tower mounts? Do they need to also be replaced? If so how much are they and where can i get them?
    Thanks again guys,

I wouldn't spend the cash if they are in good shape. unless they've got a bunch of miles on them, they'll probabl be fine. IIRC, they are like $100 each for M3's.

i would unless you plan on adjusting the front frequently (then you could do it down the road). I have H&R coilovers and did not replace them. I have since bought them and have never installed them (seems like a pain in the ass to go back and install them). If you want to buy them (with strut reinforcements) i will probably sell them. i'm in seattle. PM me if interested.

I think it's a good idea to replace the strut bearings when you change struts/springs.
I also opted for the reinforcements.

If you have a 80K or so i'd replace them. My right one just died, oh well they are easy to replace.

does anyone know the part number for the mounts and the reinforcement plates? Are the ones for the sedans the same as the coupes?
    Thanks guys,

Sorry to dig up this thread, but I just checked out Turner Motorsports's site, and they had a pic of the reinforcement plates (attached pic).

As you can clearly see, the p/n is listed as 31 31 2 489 795, not 785. Is there some difference between these two parts?

I have a question. If you already have a '96+ would you really have to buy new reinforcement plates? I can't imagine a extra piece of sheet metal just wearing out due to milage, corrosion maybe.
