Does anyone have any seat height modification kits sitting around? Would love to buy one asap.
With putting ~600 miles on the coupe every week my back is in need of some help.

I bought mine, HERE
I just bought the required hardware at my local fastenal. Didn't have to wait for shipping and cost about $3.
Make sure they are hardened so the seat doesn't come off the base when you hit something head on.
White is Right, Steel Grey is OK, but Estoril is the only color that truly matters.
I like Coupes.
I still have the tilt mod kit that mcoupemindy sold me sitting in a drawer. Frankly, I'm not sure if I'll ever install it, unless only to experiment. I've done 14 hour and 19 hour drives, plus multiple 6, 8, and 10 hour drives, and to be honest, the seats in this car are the most comfortable seats I've ever had. Hands down better than the 'vaders' in my 99 M3, and light years better than the WRX seats.
I'm 6-ft, and weight varies from 185-200, for the sake of reference.

Can you please draft a short list of the parts/sizes you bought? I was looking into doing this also... It would save me some experimenting and back and forth trips the the hardware store...
This link gives you all the info you need.

Check the grade of materials. For that price, I'm betting they are low grade. I can't even buy the couplers for close to that!

Grade 8 is not sufficient in a seat application.

Shipping to Canada is cheapSend me an email if you want - it's in my sig.
If you have long legs (like me 6'2" 185) this is a must, I'm going to be doing it to my E46 too.
Must do!

Just did it, cost $9... found $3.50 under the drivers seat! Passenger side was a pain cause the is a sub amp behind the seat made life a little tight while fitting. Seats much better for my height 6'.

A frontal impact is not the concern here. As long as the rear fasteners hold, the new hardware will be loaded in compression. This is not a concern as long as the bearing area is the same or greater than before. My concern is a side impact. The seat rails will be loaded in torsion rather than tension, so the rear anchors will not be helping the front. The risers introduce two hinge points at the joints. A little bit of give in the sheet metal base and rail can result in a pretty large seat movement. How much, and how critical it would be to seatbelt operation... I have no idea. So I'm still on the fence with my car... I could certainly use the added height.
Jonathan is spot on on the grade 8. Grade 8 can not be used anyplace that is subjected to a bending load.

So the longer front seat riser bolts no longer bolt the rails directly to the floor, but create a hinge point at the floor and at the rail. In a side impact, the seat moves sideways on the hinge points, bending the bolts, which are strong in tension but not in torsion. So the front riser bolts might break and the seat would be left with the rear bolts only.
