What: Group Drive
Where: North Bay Area
When: November 4th (Meet up at 9:00 AM Roll out 9:45)
For those interested I'll be putting together a meet/drive for the 4th of November. We would meet up in Novato near the Burger King at the shopping center listed on the map provided in the link below. We will have some time to gather up and talk a bit. After that we would travel down the freeway to Lucas Valley road, make our way to the coast, travel along there, and finish up in Mill Valley where we can have lunch (for those interested) and say our good byes. Spirited driving is fine, but let's not get reckless. Also if you have a two way radio please bring it. It will help keep us together/organized.
All cars are welcome!
Needless revving, burnouts, and other stupid behavior is not!
Let's have fun and be safe!
UPDATE: This will be the route we are taking. If you're unfamiliar with this area it may be helpful to print out a list of the directions!
also here is the address of the meet up point.

Within my comfort zone but with the cars down for it I'd be getting it into 3rd gear while everyone else is in Mill Valley finishing lunch.
I'm down, I'll be in the stock as fuck grey e36 while everyone's in their fancymobiles.
I'd love to meet some fellow enthusiasts. I'll be there if I can afford to fill my tank...haha.
Sounds like fun!
You ask for route suggestions and traffic can be a PITA on Hwy1 around Stinson Beach on a Sunday, may I suggest this route instead? There's a reason they film car commercials on Ridgecrest West...
I'd post the link to the updated Google Maps. BUT silly BimmerForums won't let me post a link...

I see your point. Though do you think people will be wanting to go to the beach in November? If you could PM me the link that'd be great. Though looking over the directions I have to say I'm just not the biggest fan of Bolinas road because of the road clearance of the car I'll be taking.

Won't let me PM either.... Look up the thread about this drive on the BMW2002FAQ.com forum... in the BayArea02 regional section. The alt route link is there. Is your car really to low to enjoy those roads? There may be a few real old school BMW 2002's to join you.
I have a few cars to choose from.... '85 Euro 518i, sleeper '86 528e with 436K miles on it, Cousin Matt's '87 535is or his '74 2002Tii...
How many darned posts do I have to do here to validate myself as a real user?? This is one of the many reasons I so rarely use this forum.
