will a S50B32(Euro) Head bolt on to a M50 Block?

Please explain this answer. All e36 6 cylinder blocks are the same casting and all e36 6 cylinder heads are the same casting. So it should bolt on.

This may be true for USA E36 non-M and M and for Euro E36 non-M, but I think Euro E36 M are in a special category in terms of both the block and the head.

you could buy a m50 head gasket and a s50 euro head gasket and see if everything lines up.

It won't. People have been thinking of this for 15 years now. The Euro version of the block has different internals and extra strengthening that allow it to safely rev to 7600 rpm. The oil and water passages are different. The euro head may fit on the US block, but unfortunately, that is not enough. The Euro head is a different casting.
