Full respray (January 2011)
Replaced valve cover gaskets (jan 2011)- I suspect i didn't clean the valve cover seats well enough because there still mild leakage.
Power steering hose (feb 2011)
New brake pads all around (feb 2011)
Installed 10 pc Meyle HD front suspension kit (Mar 2011)
New Heater core (Nov 2011)
New hella fog light covers (jan 2012)
Msport bumper painted (jan 2012)
Replaced spark plugs (Mar 2012)
New front rotors (Jul 2012) zimm
New front struts w/ new dust boots and bumb stops (Jul 2012)
New engine mounts (Jul 2012)

Have a stack of paperwork from the po also

Current known problems
Front windshield trim missing, flew off on highway
Driver's side rear tire blown (getting replacement on Wednesday)
Rear windows do not roll down ( never bothered looking into it)
*******DMF, there is a rattling noise at idle with the clutch it pushed in, noise goes away when depressing the clutch. I believe the dual mass flywheel is on its way out or it could be the throw out bearing, either way I am not brave enough to fix this and not rich enough to pay someone to do it.

Pics of the interiour? Any leaks of any fluids? Coolant or Oil?

Ever have a leak down or compression test done?

What brand struts did you install?

Howd the re-rpay come out? Any close up pics of the finish?

I can take extra pictures, tomorrow evening, today i'm pretty busy. I haven't done a leak down or compression test. If someone has the tools in the area they are more than welcome to come do it. The struts I installed were Bilstein Tourings, I posted a thread about it last week when I was looking for a set. I replaced a bunch of things that the car immediately needed. The respray came out ok, I sprayed it in the winter and the booth was not heated. I am not sure what happened but the hood doesn't shine up like the rest of the car. Also the color match was not the best in my opinion but haven't seen another orient blau to compare it to.

If the paint job is anything close to decent, that is a LOT of car for the money.

Excellent color combination, very tasteful mods, this thing should sell quick.

By the way the car just got to Michigan a month ago, so rust is not an issue!!!

Here are some close up shots of the paint, note the slight haze on the hood, I believe if the clear was reshot it would be fine. Most shop will not do just clear thou so the hood might have to be shot with new paint if this bothers you.

Bump! A lot of car for the price. Needs a rear Msport bumper to complete the package but that is for the next owner to address.

The wheels are factory BMW wheels from a 2001 740i sport e38

And personally I don't care for the rear msport bumper so I never bothered getting it. Even thou it may seem like it I wasn't going for a Msport clone, just added on the things I liked.

Btw roof rack will come with the car, but the roof rack wind deflector stays with me

I wish I would've waited for a nicer one, a year a half is a long time BUT this car looks 100x better than mine. One hell of a deal too! Someone will snatch this up quick

I am unfamiliar with the smileys. Does that mean they are HID ready projectors? I do a lot of night driving and being able to see is important to me.

An E34 isn't exactly what I was looking for, but I do understand this to be a rare car and a good deal from the sound of it.

Smileys are projector headlamps that came factory in europe, note the picture ... the low beam headlight looks like a cyclops smiley face. No HIDs on this, but could be easily added thou.

Very interested, how's are the bottom od doors? Any rust? Any rust on trunk lid? How did the heads look under the valve covers?
