    Color matched vs factory black trim comparison *e36 M3*

    Soo, after plenty of thought, I stripped my trim down to factory black look.

    What do you guys think?

    Perfect...looks better black, I was considering color matching...but after seeing this gonna stay BLACK...

    You need to be really really modified to pull off the painted moldings. That being said, I prefer black on your car, great job!

    Love it, never been a fan of matched and I also agree about going back to non-painted door handles but much better.

    Wow, I expected positive feedback, but not 100% positive. Thanks guys!

    I like color matched door handles because it leave just one black line going front to back, looks clean IMO.

    Looks much better with the stock trim, e36's were designed to have that contrast. Without it they just look strange...

    Black trim will always look better. I have yet to see a car with painted moldings that I liked.
