I have been saving up for quite some time and am very excited that things are finally coming in and getting put on the car. I wanted to be able to do everything all at once to be able to feel the car transform into what it should drive like. Below you will find a list of everything that I will be putting into my car within the next 2-3 weeks along with a couple things I got for it in the process.
Heres what modifications my car had prior to the overhaul:
-B&B Tri-Flo Catback
-Dinan Stage 1 chip
-PFC Drilled Rotors
-AC Schnitzer Front and Rear Strut Tower Bars
-Most of cooling system done besides the water pump
And then, the things I recently bought for the car:
-TCK SA's 400/500
-OEM Engine/Tranny Mounts
-Flex Disk
-10.9 diff bolt upgrade with AKG Diff bushings and center support bearing
-Control Arms w/ bushings/tie rod assemblies/sway bar links
-X brace
-ACS Strut Tower bars for front and rear
-Stewart Pump
-Hawk Ceramic Street Pads
-Stainless Steel brake lines
-Powerflex RTABS
-Rear shock tower reinforcements to go with the shock mounts that came with my coilovers.
-All fluids changed
-OEM Mahle fuel filter
As any of you would imagine, I am extremely excited to complete this overhaul. So far I have only installed the TCK's and that alone made a day and night difference. The original shocks/struts were on their way to being blown as they have never been changed throughout all 97,000 miles of their life. I wanted to document this in some way so Ill be posting some before and after pictures in this process. Here are a couple of the car before coilovers installed and a couple after shots, followed by a shitty instagram edit... (spare me, i just made an account )
Also I thought you guys should know, I dont own a camera. Just the one that came with my phone. If anyone here is a photographer in the Los Angeles area, I would love to meet up and get some decent shots of my car as I have yet to do so.
I was hoping my measurements would make the car sit right where I wanted it... NOPE. went a bit too low first time adjusting.
Raised it up a bit the next day and I really like where I have it now. I would have wanted just a bit higher in the rear, but this will do for now.
instagram -_-
Ill update this in about a week or two with progress. Thanks for looking!

They are TC Kline Single Adjustable. You recently installed some on your car as well right? They were BC or Megan if I remember correctly.
You need spacers
Will soon have 15mm spacers for the front that Im getting for a good deal. Although it wont matter much because the car will be sitting on a new set of wheels by Summer.

They are not polished. The original owner of the car had them painted in Chrome from dealer. Im personally not a fan but if you would like to trade..
And I will not be going any lower on the front. Higher if anything. The roads where I live are shitty.
i loveeeeee your car the daytona is the best color on the e36's
Looks good... Good luck with all the work
Lookin' good, glad to see another purple penetrator around. Any plans on wheels?
Thanks for all the positive comments, I really appreciate it!
Today is a very special day. Everything is currently installed and MAN does it feel like a completely different car. Everything is running very smooth and I can happily say I wont have to worry about much else for the next 30-40k miles.
Only thing left on my to do list is to pick up those O.Z. Mito's. Im not sure if I will need spacers just yet, but I am keeping my mind open to them once the Mitos are mounted. I also might do a stud conversion. I figure it will make life a bit easier and will also look nice with the new wheels.
Hope everyone has a great day and im looking forward to meeting some of you at bimmerfest this year!
Oh yeah, this is heading in the right direction! Good stuff man.
This needs updating
The roads where I live are shitty.
Many things have happened in the past 2 weeks.
First off, I found a couple issues with the car... -_-
1) Been getting random CE lights lately when shifting around 2-3k. Got code 1226 after a stomp test and it turns out I am going to need to replace the knock sensors.
2) Found a coolant leak today. Looks like its coming from the bottom of the expansion tank. I am going to take a closer look tomorrow further diagnose the issue and get it resolved.
Now thats out of the way, I can move on to some of the good stuff. A buddy got some very nice rolling shots of the car on the way to bimmerfest, and I also managed to pick up a set of one of my favorite wheels for my car. I got a quick picture from mounting them today but am switching the 235/40s from my DS1's onto the Mitos because I can not stand the stretched/skinny tire thing. After only a couple hours I was able to realize I need to get some meat back in there.
and the mitos, still awaiting tire swap.
too much wheel gap

it will be filled once i mount the 235s from my DS1s. the car will not be going any lower than this.
nice car!
Really nice setup man, you had me scared at first with the chrome DS1s
Fantastic looking car with the OZ's mounted. I also applaud you for owning a E36 M3 & not lowering it into the weed's. I like the look of the current ride height.
You ask any ricer, any serious ricer. It doesn't matter if the other guy is racing or not. A win is a win.
Lol you'd be surprised. They look half decent if you give them a proper cleaning but as most of you know, half decent doesnt cut it. Especially when you care about your car as much as I do.Originally Posted by jeremy5000
Yeah, I've never got into the stance scene. One of my best friends drives a dumped e36 325 and after driving it, I realized I could never do that to my car. Defeats the purpose of an m3. It's nice to look at but driving like that is a PITA. I've already had minor clearing issues with the xbrace.. took a nice hit to the pavement the other day while I was inching over a bump in the road.Originally Posted by Madtown
Thanks again for the positive comments! It really makes all the hard work and money pay off.
