Has anyone on here using DIS/GT1 diagnostic software at their home on a laptop? I am thinking of doing this but I am pretty computer illiterate and would benefit from seeing such a system in action.

If I get my cable by then I'll bring it along. I have PA Soft if you need any easy stuff coded.

I've considered doing this. I've read over the threads plenty of times. I just don't really have much of a use for this on my personal car at the moment.

I am confident it could reset airbag light and check ABS codes. I do not know yet re DME-EWS alignment. I've only had it for a few days.

I can now access probably any fault code that I would care to know about. I have been able to read fault codes that I cannot read with the OBD II scanner - for instance relating to my power tilt/telescoping wheel, and have been able to do modest recoding like turing off the audible arming/disarming of my alarm, changing the language of the car, and turning on and off DRLs.
