| X3, X5 & X6 (E53, E70, E71, E83) (2000 - current) BMW invented a new word when they introduced their SUVs to the world: Sport Activity Vehicle. Sportier and with more car like agility than the standard SUV, with all of the hauling perks for a more active lifestyle. Introduced in 1996, the X5 continues to be a hit. The younger sibling, the X3, was born in 2003. |

Drove a MB ML320 today....
My mom had to take her s500 into the shop over the weekend and I got to drive the loaner, a ML320.
I know I really can't compare the x5 4.4i that mom also has, but just handling wise the MB still doesn't compare with the x5 and there are just subtle things that I disliked But then again I am biased ![]() I wanna test drive the ML55 though, I heard that thing hauls ass! ![]()

Ya, ML class uses a truck platform with an X like chassis which twists. When they did the demo with the Lexus LX470, MB ML430 and X5 4.4i. At 30 mph, both the Lexus LX470 and ML430 were up on the roll bars. The X5 at 45mph didn't even lift a tire off the ground.
I've never driven a ML before, but I understand they are nice... ML55s do haul ass. It's almost sick how fast they are.

Yeah, my mom got her s500 back today, I am SO not allowed to touch that car, I need to take pics of it.
Oh, yeah, the ML was nice inside, but I tell you, the X5 is WAY nicer inside, the leather is much more plush
