still havent figured that part out. I am going to cut up my stock fenders and try to make something work.... Dunno
sure will!
This wont be a drift-only car though so I will be at NJMP, VIR, Monticello, etc with sticky tires too.
OH - and the turbo setup is for sale for you e30 peeps
Oh Damn! this could be greatness in the making. you should do that crazy new widebody kit from dtmfiberwerkz since those wheels can actually fill it in.
this kit is what im imagining on this car:

Id love to run a dtmfw kit but have trouble spending so much on fiberglass.
Especially when I have a high chance of meeting some cones and walls

Harbor Freight $39 motor stand... told you im a baller!
Evo II rep wing
Massive Lee dual caliper set up for my hydro plans
92mm bull nose studs because no one likes holding a 12" wheel up while you thread in a lug
S52 head... figuring out my valve train still
some maintenance part for the motor: thermostat, filters, sensors, metal water pump, etc
South Bend clutch
AAsco lightened flywheel
Mishimoto fan mounted, Spal puller ready to bolt in. Euro radiator fits like a glove.
Treehouse essentials from PO - :
beats a modded e21 with cool factor
Ground Control coilovers are amazing so far... need camber plates
Also have SS brake lines, poly bushings everywhere, new control arms / lollis
and some pretty blue lines for cosmetic surgery

Not much for updates from the hick white-bro..
Been fighting some mediocre form of aids since thursday so I slept most of the weekend.
ASD hotness
Then I limped my way to the garage and basically setup my work space for winter... cleaned all of my tools, rebuilt a ton of my matco ratchet wrenches, put in 3 new T8 fixtures, added two 220 recepticles and moved the heater so it is right in my work area
De-interiorized the penis colored luxury mobile
Then i worked on some wiring / shaving but you really cant tell. Im having issues wiring up my DME but have plenty of time to get it working.
The harness is going on a diet and I will most likely add some fused switches to keep things simple.

Post Thanksgiving Update:
Turkey induced hulkanism allowed me to remove the motor...
still debating on making my own harness.... removing the fuse box and starting over
:
Also got some parts and ordered some tools while I was at it...
Beautiful 1000lb/in2 wilwoods for my dual caliper setup
And my joe dirt inspired gas pedal

I started on shaving the bay... meh
now I have holes to patch... I will stitch it eventually too but need a new welder :violent:
got distracted and removed the remaining sound deadening
FINALLY got the cage to fit but I need to finish the passenger door bars
Also mocked up the seats and hydro... Still need to make seat brackets so they are just sitting there
And last for my updates, I cut up my front quarters and 'massaged' them until I got the bend I like. This gives you an idea of the fitment.

No work updates but the FedEx bro was busy
Cometic MLS .140
ARP 2000 studs
AA Rotrex C38 setup to satisfy my pursuit to make LESS power
:loco:
polished goodness
TRM Tune
and last, some short tube headers
and for fun a shot of my bench

this is pure awesomeness.
anyone here running a LTW flywheel?
I need to get a new tune and might switch back... to chatter or not to chatter!?
Awesome build, not sure If it helps in your case but I have the UUC ltw flywheel kit in my e36. Put in some Automatic tranny fluid in with minimal to no chatter. The added "power" is also fantastic. I'd highly recommend it.
You're building a stripped out no-sound deadening racecar, and you're worrying about flywheel chatter? Lol get a light one! The rev matching is soooo much nicer and worth it

Dude!!! i really need a garage... and maybe another e30 too... this is going to rule!
Can't wait to see finished product. Amazing start!
I have a JBR fly which is lighter than the Aasco IIRC and I have minimal chatter even with a stock 3.2 solid hub clutch.
wait a second... your name honestly is Rich Whiteman!?
Awesome build man!
I love the last pic
i would put my whole name on the mailbox if my name was rich whiteman. just seyssin
