Well our friend Bobby Downes brought his custom 135i into our showroom during our Bavarian Fest at Schaeffer BMW down here in Wilmington. I snagged a couple photos for the forums, the doors on this thing come in at around 3lbs each, opening and closing them feels unreal. It has 400HP and 420 foot-pounds of torque. It will be in our showroom until October 31st, if anyone is in the area and wants to check it out. The BMW 1M will also be coming back into our showroom this Wed. night.
is it racing in a series?
pretty wild

looks crazy. Id love to see it without the wing.
Damn that is begging for track time.

Pontiac Aztec
Those 2 are the only things uglier that I found when typing "ugliest cars of the world" into google images.. actually I'm not sure on the Aztec, it's proper nasty, but this rivals it.
It's light? Oh, good.
wow...
Its sitting on slicks, I am assuming (hoping) its primarily a race car.
Suspension: Bilstein Sports, GC Coilover conversion, IE Subframe Bushings, IE RTABs, M roadster sways, M roadster front control arms, M roadster Front calipers/hubs.
Engine/Driveline: M54B30 intake Manifold, Dinan CAI, ZHP Cams, Headers, Underdrive pulleys, Conforti Software, 3.46 diff.
Looks more purposeful than ugly to me.... and I'm a big fan of purposeful. Badass track toy.

This car is just so awesome!
Not my cup of tea on the styling but i'm sure that thing tears up a race track.

There is such thing as a beautiful track car...this is not one of them. But the work put into must be appreciated.
wow
I agree purpose built track car there or race car...
I like the fender flares. i saw 315 on the front tire!!!

If you can take it apart you can make it faster!
Wow... Is that entire car CF? I bet it flies... check out that wing. Daaaaang!
Wait wait wait.... is this the Schaeffer BMW from Eastbound and Down!? Because that's pretty fantastic regardless of the cars on the showroom floor.
I met Bobby about a week ago at his fab shop Overrev fabrication. I saw the car there too. I am very very impressed with attention to detail. Everything on that car is a custom one off created by Bobby. He has some fab skills. Luckily enough, he's going to be building a cage for me!
Awesome car.
