Second race logic traction control group buy has been launched:

The last group but with Race Logic was a perfect success. The single largest shipment of traction control systems ever to be shipped to the USA...EVER. Possibly the largest single group buy on Bimmer forums (over $33,000 of product). I purchased two extra units for my self on the group buy, and I sold them to a local shop at retail, and a bimmer forums member here who begged me for the unit. Well, i figured that I will need a few units for my self still, and there seems to be some demand still for this product. So, GAME ON!! Lets see if we can get 10 of us together again so I can replace my two units.

This pricing is based on 10 units. I am not a Vendor. The costs I have listed cover shipping from the UK to here, Pound to Dollar conversion costs, and shipping to all of you from me.

    Here is the pricing:

    RLTC6A: $730 shipped
    RLTC6A w/ Launch Contro: $830 shipped
RLTC6A w/ Digital Controller silver anodized, (can you say Gumpert Apollo): $950.00 shipped (add $33 for Black anodized)

    OTHER PARTS:
8 Cylinder with Launch control: $1005, Add $120 for Digital Controller Silver, $153 for Black.

    Digital Controllers By them Selves:
    Digital Controller Silver Anodized: $250
    Digital Controller Black Anodized: $275

50% deposit required when I purchase the units from Race Logic, 50% when I receive them from Race Logic.

With the economy the way it is, if the dollar to Lb conversion is much more than 1.65:1 there may need to be a slight change in the cost. I don't anticipate that being much of an issue. It wasn't on the last one.

You vial temptress. I'm in. Basic 6 cyl unit, possibly with Digital Adjuster, will decide by the time you require payment.

Thanks a ton for doing this! I remember how much work it was for you last time.

As in the R35 nissan GTR? I think that car has proper launch/traction/stability control right?

I have met very few awd cars that I though could benefit from race logic, at least in the conditions and manner that I drive them in. But I hear that the race logic does AWD very well.

It took me about 6 hours with a good friend. The car we installed it on was a car equipped with a tec3r plug and play standalone ECU. That is significant because that ecu allows for a mis fire situation, where as the Stock DME does not. If you are F/I, you have some sort of tuner on the stock DME, and you will need to have them allow for misfire's.

Other than that small difference, it is 100% the same on a stock M3. Same wiring, same tuning etc.

High impedance injectors are also required. Honestly, I do not know what stock injectors are, I have only dealt with cars with different injectors. Getting high impedance injectors in any size in not an issue. I just got 1200cc injectors for my M coupe that are high impedance so I can convert to Flex Fuel.

You should add the option for full throttle shift!

Sorry, I haven't been keeping track of it very well. I will dedicate some time in the next little bit to put a list together. Things are going wild on the 3 piece Z3 wheel project. Getting everything ready for SEMA. Chasing down my unicorns.

Right on man, no rush, just curious.

Have fun at SEMA! I went in 04 and every year since I've been thinking of going but every year I get more and more interested in pure track performance and SEMA tailors mainly to done up street cars.

    Hello Jonesmechanical,

I would like to join the Group Buy. I need an 8-cylinder model. I would like the Black anodized Digital Adjuster and it's small upcharge in price.

Here are the model numbers I need:

    - Unit # RLTC8DIA - Adjustable Traction Control (8 Cyl) + Launch Control + Data Logging + Digital Adjuster (BLACK)

I have seen comments about Paypal... Are you accepting Paypal? I would be happy to pay the extra for the transaction. Let me know how much and where!

I can not PM you on this site since I'm new so you are welcome to email me at: rayhale05 at yahoo dot com.

Thanks a lot for putting this together!

    Ray

If anyone is interested in a racelogic tcs from one of the older purchases I never installed mine. All the parts are intact but I'm not sure where I put the manual.

    Adjustable + FTS + LC

Another Factory Five here, but a roadster instead of the GTM.

Would like 8 cyl with LC, FTS, and black digital controller.

Please add me to the list, I missed out on the last GB.

-- 8 Cylinder with Launch control: $1005, Add $120 for Digital Controller Silver.

This will be installed in a Factory Five Mk4 with the new Ford Coyote Motor! I contacted Ford customer support and they confirmed it should not be an issue installing the system with the hotrod control pack that comes with the crate motor.

Really appreciate you putting this together, Im pumped! David Borden
