What spoiler do you have front and/or rear. Post pics please.
WTB: Factory OEM Rear Spoiler (See Pic)
None. The car looks best naked.
+1 on that! Z3's with spoilers look beyond terrible.

Must agree. The body line gives no easy place for a spoiler to look good without it being moulded in. Trunk spoilers feel awkward and isolated because of the width of the rear, wing spoilers are just gaudy.
Front spoilers... there are tons of lip kits out there. I personally think it silly having the front low or "kitted out" but the rest of the car is "higher" up. To each their own.
ACS makes front and rear kits, and is probably the best looking I have seen.

I agree.
I have never liked spoilers on these cars.
That is because all I have seen are pedestal types.
My car with it's OEM 3pc is perfect to me. When I see an M without one, it just looks "soft".

Though not positive, I have never seen a 3 piece OEM spoiler like that. That appears to me to be more of the ACS style. Fitment does not appear OEM.

somebody get brave and mold-in somethin like the viper rear has, with the tucked-in tail lights:
I definitely like my 96 Z with the 3 pc OEM spoiler. Although I do like the line of the Z without.
This is what I have. It's off of eBay. Small and subtle is what I like.
It looks great but a little hard to see in detail. Is it the same version that Dion has on his car?
dion....is your rear spoiler a factory OEM option, if not what manufacturer is it.
Can you tell me if it's flexible or does it already have that curvature molded in? i was curious if it could be modified to fit an M Coupe?

Looking at the body lines of the newer bodystyles, they seem to be able to pull off spoilers a little better because they have a better defined trunkline. The Ms/older Zs are rounded out, and adding the spoiler sort of breaks that. Just IMO
Thats really interesting, I didnt know that. I might look for one to see what it looks like in person. So it was not OEM to the M? That might explain why the fitment is a little different on the right vs. left taillight. It does look good though, reminds me a lot of the ACS ones

The one I have is a G-power piece. It's NLA as far as I'm aware. I also have the G-power front splitter/flippers as well.
The piece is M roadster specific, not flexible at all. It feels like it's made of plastic filler or plaster.

I want to see a picture of one of these illusive front spoilers. I'll give $5 via paypal to anyone who can produce a picture of a real front spoiler. I don't care what car it is on either. I just want to see one.
Spoiler, splitter, extensions, flippers...
G-power from here.

Yah. All different things, with different names, with distinct different modes of operation and effects.
A spoiler creates turbulence ("spoils" the laminar air flow, hence the name) for the purpose of filling in huge low-pressure areas behind a vehicle to reduce drag on the vehicle. Note; spoilers do not create downforce strictly speaking.
If you want to get more technical, spoilers attempt to lessen the sharp disparity between high and low pressure areas to reduce that disparity for beneficial gains.
Looks to be a front splitter from here. Front splitters create downforce in two main ways. They are nothing like spoilers.
Front splitter plus front canard/dive plane. Front splitters we already went over. Canards create downforce in two main ways as well. They are nothing like spoilers.
Front splitter, albeit a horrible one.
All front wings. Wings create downforce in two main ways. They are nothing like a spoiler.
See above for front splitter and canards. Front air dams create downforce in one way, and when paired with a front splitter, create downforce in another way. No spoiler here either.
I'll up it to $10.

spoil·er /ˈspɔɪlər/ Show Spelled[spoi-ler] Show IPA
noun
1. a person or thing that spoils.
2. a person who robs or ravages; despoiler; plunderer.
3. Aeronautics . a device used to break up the airflow around an aerodynamic surface, as an aircraft wing, in order to slow the movement through the air or to decrease the lift on the surface and, as a result, provide bank or descent control.
4. Automotive . a similar device for changing the airflow past a moving vehicle, often having the form of a transverse fin or blade mounted at the front or rear to reduce lift and increase traction at high speeds.

Properly applied, spoilers "create" downforce in that they reduce the lift over a curved surface, although you are correct that most automotive applications are primarily reducing drag by energizing flow toward the rear of the vehicle.
The Pagani Huyra has four deferentially active aero surfaces on its nose and tail. These are computer controlled to act as ailerons, flaps, airbrakes, and yes, spoilers as needed to stabilize the vehicle at speed.
