For Sale: 1999 BMW M Coupe
I will be very brief, and let the car speak for itself. After having been on the hunt for an M coupe for two years- I was finally able to purchase (afford) this beautiful example in April of this year, where I flew down to New Orleans from Chicago and met with a member on here (Organic M). I made sure to buy the cleanest and most thorough example I could afford- as I am an extreme perfectionist. All owners of this car have been enthusiasts, and I have contact info of both the PO, and the guy before that if you are interested.
The car is in absolutely fantastic shape- with a 9/10 body and overall condition that exceeds what one would expect from 65k miles. The only reason I am now selling it is because I would not like to drive this in the winter and have bought a Z3 coupe to get me through the Chicago winter.
It was also the exact car featured in the Edmunds.com promotional article:
http://www.insideline.com/bmw/m/1999...-roadster.html
Onto the important details:

Exterior:
9/10 condition. all original with all matching VINS and no paintwork. No dings, no dents, no major scratches that would need repair. I noted some very small imperfections in the pictures, with a key next to them for scale. You'll see that the hood is in immaculate shape, with virtually no rock chips or road rash. The only flaw, and I mean literally the only notable flaw with the car- is that the bumper has a bit of road rash. Additionally- it used to have AC Schnitzer splitters installed, and the mounting hardware is still attached on the bottomside of the bumper. The wheels have a chip in one of the fronts that occured after the pictures were taken and like many BMW wheel finishes, are thin in some spots due to age. But even in the pics- you'll have a hard time seeing that there's anything wrong, but I still wanted to make sure to note it.
Interior:
8.5/10 condition. No tears, rips, scratches, odors, etc. etc. Some minor wear on the driver's bolster, but nothing unexpected with 65k miles. Car has a choice of Panasonic or Pioneer head unit that I'll leave with the car. Currently only the front speakers are being powered as I removed the aftermarket stereo setup that one of the previous owners installed (it wasn't very good). The ZHP knob is not included and will be replaced with stock.
Mechanical:
No, rattles, leaks, noises or anything to point out. Car drove like a champion from New Orleans to Chicago, and I've been driving it every day since April with no reservations at all. Several maintenance and miscallaneous items were replaced during the car's life, please refer to the list below. The car is being sold completely stock. The cold air intake and mufflers are both being replaced with stock.
Subframe has NO signs of damage, no popping or rusted spotwelds, and the differential mount is solid. I made sure to buy the car myself from an enthusiast who knew about the chronic subframe issues in these cars, so there is no issue there at all.
It also has the Dinan Stage 4 Suspension upgrade. This includes:
- DINAN front springs
- KONI struts
- DINAN 22mm adjustable front anti-roll bar

What a gorgeous car. I'm unfortunately more than a couple grand short, and am presently kicking myself - hard - for not managing my money well enough to pounce on this.
GLWS.

Am I the epitome of a walking contradiction if I hide a Luke 11:33 reference in my signature?
