For those that don't venture off into the bimmer rides and styling here you go, updated pics with the BBS RK's getting powder coated in a semi gloss black. I also painted the kidney grills and will be redoing the side gills since the black is a little different. Enjoy

Oh wow, Estoril is beautiful, but the black wheels really drown out the shape. Gunmetal would have worked better.
Man the rear brakes look so sad under those!
The wheels are good but you should've put more effort to clean the rust off that rotors and bolts.
I guess let me be the first to tell you on this thread that your car looks f'ing awesome!! I love the estoril blue on black rims, the BBS logo on the lip, well I've never seen something like that on rims but it looks great! Yea the rotors are a little dusty/rusty but who cares that's not what you're showing off here.
Once again, big props go out to you dude, Great looking shoe!
I think it looks great man! usually black takes away from wheels...but the RK's open face against the smooth as butter EB paint fits perfectly.
+1 on cleaning up the brakes, but its only so pronounced because everything else is so clean.
Love it.
They almost look like a different wheel altogether in black.
+1 on the brakes though, they are just asking for some tlc.

Yeah, those are horrible.
Sell them to me and start over.
Definitely appreciate another enthusiast, but black wheels arent my thing.
Black wheels on an Estoril car is like mixing navy blue and black in the same outfit. I've heard this makes the world implode. Do not like, and I once owned black wheels (that in my defense, i bought with the intention of turning them silver). Black takes all the depth and good looks out of wheels...
To each his own! Enjoy.
96% of the time, I dislike black wheels on anything. No contrast, lost details, makes your tires look brown if everything is not impeccably cleaned.
This is another one of those cases, sorry man.
I'm in the minority, I could care less how the brakes look, as long as they are functional. I guess some people would rather spend more time looking at their car and "potecting it" than actually enjoying driving it.
Once again, those are the ugliest wheels I have ever seen. You should get them off the car before it implodes.
I will take them off your hands so you can try again with a different set of wheels.
that looks nice!

I honestly think it looks fantastic! Houston rain plays havoc on your brakes, I remember the heat and humidity too... not missing that one single bit.
Are those shots taken inside the loop, around the west u or uptown areas?
Keep up the good work, car and wheels look great!
I prefer those in silver......but like others have mentioned , its your car enjoy.

"My man did you simply get carried away with your dramatic gesture or were you pointing your water gun at me with lethal intentions ?"
You know they would look better on the SG Coupe.
Give them up. Do it.
I had mine painted in chrome shadow to match the factory wheels. Its close enough, but it did take them multiple tries to get the color right.
I dig the look
If you believe that its a big safety issue then please send me your information and I will pack them up and send them your way this weekend, thanks for looking out.
Pictures are taken in the medical center here in Houston. I was planning to re-paint the brake calipers but assumed you guys weren't so picky, yeah I was wrong.

Since I'm also die-hard obsessed with anything BBS related- originality particularly, I dislike the BBS stickers on the wheels.
IMO- I feel that BBS stickers on lips should only be reserved for their true motorsport wheels.
