Up for sale is my low miles 1998 318ti 5-Speed. I bought this car several months back for my daughter. When I bought it, the handling was a bit off, so I brought it to my mechanic and he replaced the front control arms with E30 control arms (more durable than E36) and new control arm bushings. I brought the car home and detailed the interior and exterior and replaced any missing or broken pieces and parts. I gave the car to my daughter and we were going to go on a drive so she could get a feel for the car; she adjusted the seat all the way forward and could not reach the clutch pedal. So, I decided to stop there as she is 19, just barely over 5' and doesn't seem to be getting any taller. The car does have a leaking valve cover gasket and the first gear synchros are shot (not a big deal, just means full-stop before putting the car in gear). Check engine light came on on the way home from the carwash this afternoon, will pull codes and see what is going on.
This car is a 1998 with M3 bumpers and side-skirts, fog-lights, alloy wheels, and sport seats. The car is nicely equipped and has heated seats. The car has approximately 126,000 miles on it. The car has an after market Sony stereo that has a pretty cool iPod integration (shown in the pictures below). The car is located in Haverhill, MA and is being sold as-is, where-is. Please PM me any questions, offers, etc. Only trades that will be considered will be a VW Beetle or a Mini Cooper.
Asking Price is $3500 OBO
EDIT: The car does not seem to be an M-Sport, but does have M3 front bumper and side skirts.
Here is the stereo in normal use
The faceplate opens down and a tray comes out with an iPod connector
Any iPod or iPhone fits on the tray
The tray folds in and the stereo "swallows" the device
The face folds back up and the device can be controlled through the stereo

Not to rain on the parade, but it doesnt have the Mtech rear bumper cover nor sport side mouldings. It has the m3 front bumper cover and sport interior.

It's a base model (not that there is anything wrong with that).
No OBC and cruise which would make it an Active.
Definitely not a sport without the M-technic trim on the side and rear.

The vin would tell what it is and if it is a sport, its missing some very important attributes IMO.
