VF Supercharger kit for $5000 NEW

I dont envisage any probs with their kit for RHD
but ask the Q please.

I have fitted blowers to RHD with LHD kits in the past no probs.

I look like wanting 2. 1 for 97 540 and 1 for 98 540

My buddy is O/S until Monday but he was keen when I texted him

We are pretty right to go but will need to bust a price for shipping with the company we deal with being as we are in Aussie.

For those who don't have the funds yet, maybe they can put down a non-refundable amount (i.e $500) with the remaining money by the end of the year. This way VF knows they will sell more by the end of the year (good for P&L) and you will have many more buyers. I say that this GB should have to groups, buyers now and the rest by the end of the year (with non-refundable downpayment by a certain date). VF doesn't care if you get the unit in June or November. I would guess you could get another 5 buyers that way.

Don't mean to get in the way of this but I contacted ESS today to enquire if they'd be willing to do a GB. The fellow I spoke with promised to look into it. Mentioned that they'd have to be 3-5 people in on it but not much leeway. I'll report back when he contacts me. Again, I'm not trying to hijack this thread just comparison shopping.

Again, ESS only makes kits for M54 motors, not M62, not M52. That leaves out a LOT of people.

All of you guys with M54s should either join this VF group buy, or create another thread. This will only confuse everything.

maybe if you get the other forums going and get the group buy up to 100 people they will kick another 10-20% discount.... seriously. How many of these realistically do they sell per month? The margin they have on this item is likely very high since it's likely a very slow turning item (duh). So, with serious volume comes serious discount potential.

I agree the margins must be pretty high. I cant imagine they sell more than a few monthly. Heck I feel like even five monthly sales would translate to ton more s/c'd bimmers here on the forum...

This group buy is for guys with money ready to buy the kit and not for kids with wishful thinking, so no 1-2 months to wait for you, unless it takes this long for this group buy to materialize .
