I used a $40 table grinder. Epoxy fills in the imperfections.

I am solid...going with the Vibrant setup. Thanks BavLove, for point this out. Seems to be a much more elegant solution to this (I was getting pretty complicated in my approach).

Got it welded in but when I go to test it there is air coming out. No vacuum at idle....I ran the -10 straight to a vac guage with no checkvalve. Not sure if the angle is wrong or what.

Well poop. Another setup idea bites the dust. The angle looks right when comparing to BavLove's pics. I can't imagine why his would work and your's would not.

It's to shallow. Your not in the exhaust stream plus I am assuming we are looking towards the front of tge car. I asked my question for a reason. Fluid dynamics shows that the pipe inserted in the middle of the exhaust with the angle preferably a 45 facing towards the exhaust outlet will draw the mist vacuum

I'm hoping we can figure out the problem...BavLove's works really well IMHO (2-2.5" HG at idle is great). Did you turn the cutout?

It works just like BavLove's. I guess the missing link for me was the check valve. Once I put it in......

Now I just need to fab up some brackets and plumb it in.

    Nice.

So do you have the slit facing towards the back of the car or towards the front of the car??

That is facing toward. I am going to try different height and orientations to see what pulls the most.

Toward the front as seen in the earlier picture. I spun it 180 with the same results of vacuum.

Forgive me for being ignorant, but why would the installation of a check valve make a difference in whether the Vibrant exhaust bung and fitting are effective to draw vacuum from the exhaust? Which check valve did you incorporate into the Vibrant setup and where?

I do not know why the check valve makes it work. Maybe someone smarter than me can chime in.

This is the one I bought.
