M3GSX Build Part TWO! 76mm Forged S52 Black on Black

First off, I want to thank everyone of the bimmer forums for all the help that you have donated, directly or indirectly!

After my recent accident; I have a whole new outlook on life.

When I was sitting in the hospital bed, the only thing I was thinking about was how lucky I am to be alive!

I have always been a bit surreptitious about my builds, but this time I will be keeping active and informative.

I have located a 98 Arctic Silver m3 shell that I will be swapping my Drivetrain/Turbo/Tune into.

I plan on doing a full engine bay dress up, suspension, and retune for the 76mm Unit.

I will be back to post more details this weekend.

For now. I will leave you with pics of my late 97 Turbo M3, I truly loved that car.

This weekend I will start the prepping. Getting the car cleaned up and ready for action!!!! whoooohooooooooooo

That M3 had 330,000 miles on the clock and she was still clean as a whistle....it's a shame....but she was a trooper! I have never felt so safe in an accident.

Good Job BMW, thanks for making a strong car that protects lives.

Glad to hear your ok. Yet another reason I love these cars. They are incredibly well built. My brother was driving my 318i sedan which hit a telephone pole, and rolled. The only thing he got was a black eye from the airbag.

Can't wait to see the new car up and running!

    Glad you're feeling well,
    or are you?
That wreck looks able to have shaken the teeth from a healthy man.

Any planned changes to your set-up besides the recent turbo rock-grade?

I've had no issues what so ever. Although my housing/mani/dp are ceramic coated.

^ Your turbo placement seems to be further away vs. the OBX turbo placement?

turbine housing on my setup is pretty close to the valve cover. It's a bit closer than this picture shows it to be. Don't mean to get OT but here you go.

I saw the car in person today. There is maybe one door that looked okay. Every other body panel on the car was damaged. Ouch!
