Well the time has come to sell my beloved M5. This car is by far my favorite M that I have owned, previously owned a several M3's. The M5 has all the power you could want with the standard luxury amenities you expect out of a high powered sport sedan. The car is equipped with all the standard goodies from BMW, heated seats, xenons, rear sunshades, harmon kardon audio, etc. The previous owner and I have meticulously maintained this machine in pristine condition and I have all the service documents to prove it. I'm pretty anal about the condition of my cars so I like to keep them washed and waxed quite frequently. The M has its own personal slot in my garage to keep it away from all of mother nature’s nasty elements. Its Silverstone exterior over Silverstone interior (black & gray leather), the interior is updated with a 2001+ steering wheel, AC Schnitzer pedals, UUC short shift kit, and a ZHP shift knob. I have the standard cloth floor mats and a set of winter/rubber mats. The standard mats have a tendency to disintegrate rather quickly in these cars. Onto the other details:
2000 BMW M5 6 speed with 137k miles
Silverstone / Silverstone
Dinan Stage 3 suspension
Dinan Cold air intakes
Dinan Chip
EVO pulleys
Powerslot rotors with Hawk brake pads & SS brake lines
Tubi Exhaust with Magna flow cats
Stock clutch with lightweight flywheels
Thrust arm bushings replaced with X5 bushings
Super Blue ATE brake fluid
Royal Purple Synchromax tranny fluids
Inspection II just performed
TWS 10w60 oil change just completed
Known issues:
Flyhwheel chatter (typical with a light weight flywheel)
Recently replaced the battery and FSU. Appeared to still have the original battery and I read to many horror stories about the FSU not to change it.
SES light on due to high flow cats
A few pixels are out on the dash cluster
Couple scratches on exterior of car (small ones, see pics)
Asking $13,500

Why are you selling so quickly? the car was just for sale not too long ago by another forum member.
Where in OH are you located?
Love the car and the smile it puts on my face!! But unfortunately at this point in my life I need a vehicle with more room, upgrading to an SUV. However I'm sure I will own another E39 M5, these cars are phenomenal especially with the Dinan goodies
I'm located just south of Columbus.

Can you give us a little more inside scoop on that M5?
hmm i am kinda interested but dont know if car is really beat on or just being bad mouthed
either way, Princess, care to give an honest opinion on issues with car? or does the owner just not care for his cars and beat on them?
and if you do need help with your coils, im sure if you post in right section people will be nice enough to help and show you pictures for you to complete the repair or to show any other knowledgeable home mechanic
MNM- What issues are present since replacing the FSU? i thought that would be a good thing but not an issue
2000 Silverstone/Silverstone M5 1/34
Anyone who knows me knows that I don't abuse my cars and that they are meticulously maintained and serviced. I apologize for the unjust comments, previous comments about this car were completely false because she has never seen the car other than the photos in this thread.
The FSU was replaced as a preventative measure when the battery was swapped out.
Car was washed & waxed this weekend and is currently hiding from the snow in my garage. If the weather breaks this week I will get it out and take some better photos for everyone
