Damn thats a lot of miles for an 04. I have less miles on my car and its a 97.
Probably mostly highway miles though.
True I guess it depends on what maintenance was done on it. I was just crusing their forum, and I noticed that they seem to be more problamatic that our e38's this is interesting considering that they are newer then ours.

I'd sport it...but you can find em for a few grand more with reasonable mileage though
750IL SOLD....I'll miss you!
I would not consider buying that vehicle for many reasons.
Current fleet:
1999 BMW e36 M3
1999 BMW e36 328is with rotary valve engine head
1999 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight
1990 Jeep Comanche Eliminator
1962 Austin Healey Sprite
Ugh, E65... So ugly. And with that kinda mileage? Only an idiot would buy that car.

i used to hate e65/66 so bad
but after few years i like full black e66 with full alpina style...
e65 has wired headlight so i dont think i would pay anything for e65
apart from silly red part

Well after having both it's not even a close comparison of the e65/66. The performance is rediculous and the interior looks 20 years newer than e38. I'll probably buy another 2001 e38 in the future, but my e65 will be still be my favorite

I will definitely agree that the interiors on the e65/66 are great looking and much more comfortable than the e38 as well. I also bet the performance is good to, I just couldn't see my self driving something that looked like that though.

Nah the interior on the E65 is weird. Looks like stacks. They tried to hard to go after the S-Class. Specially the seat switch, dumb thinking. Other than that the 750s look awesome! Anyways the 745i isn't worth it. Specially with that known coolant leak that costs 6K-9K from dealer to fix and HELL for a DIYer. I'd pass. It doesn't handle like a E38, doesn't look as good as a E38, and isn't nearly half as reliable. My mechanic said he loves people who has the 745s cause they never leave his shop without spending at least $ 1k. Its over-priced with those miles

Run away from an e65. Not only are they ugly but they had quite a few teething problems with that platform. An e66 would be a better choice. Not only for aesthetics, but also reliability even though that word and a newer 7 series don't go together. The more I look at the E66 the more I want to jump the fence and get one.
this one for you skinny puppy lol

745's sucks but the 750's were OK. Many updates were done.

if i were in the market for that car... and the compression test turned some great results, i would consider it..
i don't think its a very DIY friendly car tho...

This post. I support it.
Thats pretty funny because the Mrs is usually driving mine around with big black glasses and you can barely see her because of the tint. I can see her in that, and that helps my cause of getting one. They just seem so much bigger, and I really like how the added size adds to the presence of the car.
