I wanted to start this When I was closer to finished but I guess I'm just too ansy. And I'd like to use it to get some help along the way as I run into Problems.
Anywho, planned mods are as follows
OBDI s50
.140 MLS HG
ARP Studs
Full 60-1 p-trim, .63 a/r, TO4s
Spa Manifold
Tial 38mm Waste gate(.5 bar spring)
Manual Boost controller ( if it ever gets here)
Ebay Intercooler 31x24x3
Clutch Net Clutch
Knockoff HKS BOV-(we'll see how that goes)
TRM Remote Blow through tune
TRM Motor mount
Plan is to go full 3" exhaust all the way back.
GOAL- 400-450 whp at under 15 lbs
Vanos was also redone. Sorry I dont have a lot of pictures this is my first time really documenting anything and its been an experiance.
Those are my plans at least Sorry for the phone pictures my buddy took some pictures last weekend but he has been able to send them to me yet.
Valve job was completed as well as the head was shaved smooth. .004 inches or something ridiuclously small but better to be safe than sorry with the .140 HG
Bracket Me and my buddy Anthony dreamed up. He made the 2.5 hr drive from toledo to Bristolville to give me a hand with my intercooler back and other things. Hopefully the aluminum holds up.. We'll see.
Just to be sure everything fits.
I have the manifold in there and tightened down and the turbo Mocked up, realized there is no other way to go then to get the TRM motormount so I'll be ordering one tonight. Hopefully I can find one on the forum. BOV is on the way hopefully I can get my hands on a motor mount so I can get my intercooler piping done so I can focus on the exhaust.
I'd like to thank you guys for all the help that you've given me so far, your help is invaluable and I'll continue to ask questions.
Comments/constructive criticism is welcome however the key term is constructive. Please dont get on here and trash the build. Thanks for the interest

Looks great so far.
What are your plans for tuning?

Plan is to contact TRM and get a remote tune from them With the blow through maf. Hopefully I can find a performance shop with a dyno day so I can get that information for a good price. Thats my plan.

Neapolitan
agree neapolitan is the shiz! I might be partial to moose tracks though.
I ran into is this
If you see the picture the inlet looks as though it is gonna be blocked by the bushing even if I buy the TRM motor mount bracket.. I hope I dont have to buy new bushings.. Any insight ?

I am running that exact compressor housing but with a different manifold (AA) so the turbo is positioned a little closer to the motor.
the TRM bracket will not change any of the locations of anything, it just arcs up higher, allowing the 4 inch inlet.
with that said. my stock rubber mount was touching the inlet, so i went with the vorshlag mounts, problem solved.
just my .02
Garrett TiAL
I'm more worried about my reducer rubbing on the bushing. Should I order different bushing or should the stickers be ok

Looks like a great obdI build!
Good luck.
Thats what the polyurethane bushings are for I agree, i had to swith my nylon ones out for the poly bushing after my vision began to be blurred at idle haha
Stocks should do the trick though!
EDIT: Pring, any reason you mounted your FMIC so high? Either way your bracket's looking sharp!

originally I had 9 inches to spare from the bottom bolt of the bumper shocks to the plastic tray. I decided I'd weld it at 7 just to be safe.. turns out the 2 inches woulda Bermuda good for me amd minimal cutting of the playic would be necessary. Probably will end up cutting the welds off and sliding it down 2 inches cause it will big me. Mostly it was to save the tray but at this point ud rather cut the tray. SOre subject live and learn. Thanks for the compliments. Plasma cutters work wonders
