AP Racing Calipers & Rotors on my Mcoupe

It's finally complete mi brochachos and brotrotskys! My custom bespoke AP Racing competition grade front brakes is a success after many months of dreaming, saving, and planning. Big ups to Lee @ Massive for helping me make this happen. No corners were cut through the development of this brake setup. Discs are centered in calipers to within a tenth of a millimeter. Radial swept area and depth is perfect as well, as the pads are just a couple of millimeters from the hat edge and a millimeter from the disc edge.

I've already bedded in the rotors and pads and bled the brake fluid twice. Pedal feel is phenomenal. Rock solid mayn! Not too short, not too long in travel, juuuuuuuust right. My previous Stoptech ST40/14" kit treated me well but these are definitely in another league.

And no, my car will never see a day -let alone a minute- of track time. Since day 1 I've viewed Moupe as my 1:1 scale model car (I used to build a great deal of plastic model cars, usually customizing most of them). So you can see it as "hard parking", but I view it in an entirely different light. Enough of the bulls#it though, fa sho.

Genuine AP Racing 72-vane competition discs from the UK motherland. Full floating (float-in-disc) design. Same discs used in Nascar, Lemans, FIA, WRC, etc.

That setup looks amazing. I wasn't sure where you could have gone from that Stop-Tech package, but you have definitely hit it even further out of the park. I hear you about the four-wheeled dress-up doll sentiment; I feel the same way about my Coupe

everything about that car makes me want to shout explicitives that are not necessarily allowed in R&S because its in the general forums.

although i was really looking forward to coming in here and laughing at someone with melted caliper covers

Do you know this for sure?

It'd be a shame if these didn't atleast get used for some type of driving event..
