This 1975 is a solid structurally rust free example from California. The interior is in extremely good condition, including the headliner. The exterior is faded with surface rust on the roof. A fresh coat of paint and minor bodywork would make this a stunnig example of this coveted car.

Mechanically, the car is in original shape, and will need the clutch master cylinder replaced and a battery to be road worthy. We have been through the brakes and replaced the radiator, so shouldn't need much else to be driveable. Would be an excellent candidate for performance upgrades or for a drivers restoration.

A California transfer form as well as a bill of sale will be included in the transaction.

I may be interested, I am half heartedly looking for a winter project.
Is this car located in Colorado?
Do you know if a 1975 car is Colorado emissions exempt?
Is this a "sand and paint" or is there welding to be done?
Any evidence of accidents or bondo?
How bad is the rust around the windows?
Any rust in the floors?
When was the last time the motor was running?

The car is in CO and according to the DMV site as long as you get collector plates it is exempt from emission regulations, which is part of the reason I picked it up in the first place.
-no welding should be needed, very much sand and paint
-no evidence of body work
-the window seals don't leak, but should be in great shape
-no rust on shock towers or floor boards, rockers have ONLY surface rust**
-all the trim is in the trunk

The motor was last run about 2 or 3 weekends ago and is in good operating order, as we regularly start it and drive it around to keep it in good shape. The only exception is with the clutch master cylindar which leaks. The car is very much driveable, but the pedal needs to be "pumped" up periodically due to the leak.

I am still interested, just have not had any time to come take a look. About titling the car in Colorado... Do you know what the procedure will be with a California transfer form and a bill of sale? Will the buyer owe back tax on the car?

Also, how is the engine running? Any smoke or oil leaks?

You state the interior is in great shape and it certainly does look it. Is the vinyl brittle at all or is it still supple.

I would like to come take a look at the car but have not had a a chance. I can possibly come up next weekend but I am not sure yet.
