Group buy on brake backing plates

trying to set up a group buy. Here is the thread =>http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1535090

Price would be $105 plus shipping, and that includes the proper amount of 3" aeroduct. It beats the prices from some other vendors, so I think its worth a shot! Here is a Pic:

Go to the group buy thread for more information and to sign up!!!!!!

Get a pic with them installed. This design tends to point half of the hose at the face of the rotor. A design that forces all air to the rotor inlet would be better.

    Look at this design. http://store.bimmerworld.com/brake-c...parts-p45.aspx

Definitely interested. 105 with everything needed is a great deal.

According to the vendor discription on the group buy thread, the E36 plates have the half moon shaped defelctor, the E30 plates do not.

I saw that too. Some close ups pics of the plates installed would help settle the issue.

3-4yrs ago I decided that I didn't like my brake backing plates because they didn't direct the air flow right at the rotor inlet. So using a couple Chef Boy R Dee cans and hose clamps I homebrewed it. Worked fine for years. Total cost: 1 lunch.

I swapped out the homebrew for the BW plates last Winter. Anyone want a couple Chef Boy R Dee cans?

All that being said, if the hose is decent quality, these guys are getting a helova price.
