That's indeed an Opel Kadett, the C-series was converted by Baur. This was called the "Aero". Most had a 1.2 engine, some the 1.6. But nowadays, most have 2.0 or 2.2 engines from the bigger Opel Rekord.

i didn't know that the Bitter car was connected with Baur. living in Newport,Ca. at the time, we got to see a small sample of all those cars.
