    18" Hoosier R6 Race tires

    Hey everyone,

Up for sale is a set of 4 race tires. They are the hoosier R6's. Here is a link to more info about them:

    http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....r&tireModel=R6

I picked these up as a package deal from a friend with the thought of finding a spare set of 18's to slap 'em on and go have fun at the track. But they've just been sitting in my house for a few months now so I think it's time I came to grips with reality and that I won't get around to doing that. Tread is at about 80% and I was told they did go through a couple heat cycles. I attached some pics of the actual tires so you can see the condition and treadwear markings. 2 of them are 245/35/18 and 2 are 255/35/18. This would be a sweet set up for someone that does track racing on a regular basis.

    $225 for all 4.

Great price! Looks like there is tons of life left on them. If only the rears were 275s or 285s, 255 is much too narrow for my application. Fronts would work nicely though. From what I have been told Hoosiers are like crack and I'm afraid to go down that road anyway.

Thanks! They definitely look to be some pretty mean tires! I can't imagine how much fun they'd be on the track.

The 255/35-18 Hoosiers are actually 270mm wide (they are a 245mm tire with a 25mm spacer in the mold.)

I would also trade these for some 7.62x.39 ammo.

I posted a link to these on the local NASA forum in case someone might be interested.

    Hope that helps...
