Update: Car is sold. It sold for $17,000 FYI. Seller was motivated. 2000 Z3 M coupe. Silver exterior with straight black interior. I found this car for my best friend Steve. It was on its 2nd owner (an older couple who purchased it as it with the modifications) when we found it with about 60K miles 3 years ago. They lived in Salt Lake City, and just loved the "little car".
75K miles, unknown how many miles are on the modifications.
S52 motor of course.
AA supercharged. C30 (Rotex intercooled) 6 psi, stock pulley, never changed.
M5 Clutch/flywheel
Boost/AFR Gauges
Supersprint headers/exhaust
Brembo Driled Rotors
Suspension/Wheels:
H&R sport Springs
Bilstein Shocks
AA sway bars
Breyton Vision Wheels (18 x 8.5 ET38 and 18 x 9.5 et 25)
New tires, 265 35 18, 225 40 18 (Hankook's I believe).
Interior:
UUC SSK
UUC Ebrake Handle
UUC Pedals
Subframe has been inspected, no issues.
100% Adult Owned for last 2 owners. Driven 15K miles by current owner in Pheonix AZ. Steve states its been the most reliable car he has every owned. He wish he could say that about his 2002 e39 540i sport. Only thing he has had to do mechanically is the Oil separator, which is typical.
Condition is Excellent. Steve Takes car of his stuff. Paint last time I saw is was a 9/10 and the interior the same, if not better. And he confirmed that. I am not the biggest fan of the gauges on the A pillar. Their accuracy is suspect. But they do register and show what going on. Just the only thing I would have done a bit differently. Otherwise, very tastefully done, good enough I told my best friend to buy it. Lots of great extras. The C30 blower kit really isn't upgradeable, but does great, even in the Pheonix heat with the A/C running. No heat soak issues like with many of the other kits out there that are mostly non intercooled. I owned a Dinan Blown M coupe, and the heat soak just killed it. I would estimate the power to be in the 300 wheel range, maybe more with the the supersprint bits. Never dyno tested. Definately a beast compared to a stock s52 and much faster than a s54 coupe.
Well, he was considering going turbo, instead of converting this car over, I recommended buying a fellow BFC forums members car. www.turbomcoupe.com is the car he just purchased.
Price: $19,500 or best offer. We will not deny any reasonable offer. Steve is more concerned with where it goes, than with how much. Great if it could go to a forum member here.
contact me anytime at 801-310-8170. Once things get more serious, I can put you in touch with him. We can deliver the car to Salt Lake City, or anywhere inbetween there and pheoniz AZ. Currently, the car is in Chandler, Arizona at Steves residence.
Thanks for looking, Greg Jones. AKA here on bfc as Jonesmechanical.

If he decides to part with the blower, I know he's probably not wanting, but if he decides to, I will be interested to see what he wants for it.

Incredible price! GLWS
i want to has but gots no munniez. GLWS beautiful car.
nice car, how much is it putting out on the wheels, you forgot to post engine pics
Yes, its a sweet deal. I just talked to him tonight. I think he would even go as low as $18,500.
Steve is getting me engine pics ASAP. We are not parting out anything, so far .
He is just not interested in having 2 of a kind around (unlike me).
Wow, those rear wheels really need spacers also. I'll make sure that the rear offsets it DIALED in if it goes to a forum member here. I made attempts to get Steve spacers for christmas (I think 12 mm) but they were on back order, and I forgot. I'm such a bad friend.

Damn this is a very tempting car. Glws!

Great looking car!! It definitely would be nice to have an intercooled system for the coupe. That's the only thing that's been killing me. Hope someone on the forum picks it up!!

Coming soon: and a visit to Randy Forbes
i am very interested with the car, do u know how much to ship to nj?
I just shipped Carls coupe here to Utah. It was only $700.00. Carl was a bit distressed about their quality, but it arrived perfect and in 4 days. Similar distance from AZ to you.
Steve is getting me pics of the engine asap.

That's a broad question. I shipped my M Coupe via an enclosed carrier, with a stop on the way at Randy Forbes place, from PA to AZ in an enclosed carrier for about $1k last November via Uship.com. From UT to NJ could probably had for about the same. You could also get it for less on an open carrier with several transfers for ~$600, or via Intercity Lines (a supporting vendor on the site). They have been recomended by a few people, but I'm guessing you'd pay $1500 for an enclosed carrier from them.
I have an S54 roadster as a daily driver and am thinking about getting a coupe to track. I would be very interested in seeing a dyno for the car. When was the last major service (valve adjustment and the works)?
valve adjustment is done on s54's. S52's use hydraulic lifters so you don't adjust the valves.
Lovely car! My wife loves the way this thing looks! I'm currently looking for a cheaper Z3 for her so any offer from me is going to be unreasonable. GLWS, maybe when we have more money.

Nice coupe and price. For 20 large I can't think of a better performance car than a reliably blown M coupe. I agree the AA stage 1 kit doesn't suffer from heak soak even with the A/C turned on. I just did a track day too, no heat soak issue. Rotrex charger on a S52 is a good mod because you get low end grunt and as the stock manifold gets restrictive boost builds linearly to redline. It's just so much fun. My C38 is upgradeable but honestly the 10:1 weight to power ratio feels well balanced, so a custom 3.64 LSD would be the better money spent vs stage 2.
I got it from Jack Foss, I think he bought from your friend Steve. The only changes i think he made was to get rid of the boost/afr gauges (unless Steve did).It doesn't appear that he drove it much bases on the millage. Here is the link to the ebay ad.
Cheers,
Steve

Congrats on the new coupe Steve! I was hoping it would end up in a good home. It's hard to get Ebay links to work in here. Here you go: Ebay Link
