8 Series (E31) (1991 - 1997) As the last E24 rolled off the production line in 1989, its replacement was quick on its heels to fulfill the fantasies of those looking for a touring coupe with all of the luxury, performance, and prestige of a BMW, only now with both 8 and 12 cylinder engines.

Thanks everyone. The 8 has been taking a lot of crap lately, especially from the press with the new 6 on its way in, so I thought it was the perfect time to appreciate the 8 a little bit. No silly "flame surfacing" here

Wow, im speechless and just found a new background!

i absolutely love the 8 serious but its hard to find one in mint condition. All the ones i see on the road are all abused and beat up.

Do you have the first photo in a high res?? If so.. i would love to get it for a crisper background. Willy@Bimmerforums.com
