8 Series (E31) (1991 - 1997) As the last E24 rolled off the production line in 1989, its replacement was quick on its heels to fulfill the fantasies of those looking for a touring coupe with all of the luxury, performance, and prestige of a BMW, only now with both 8 and 12 cylinder engines.

Thanks for the compliments! I figured it was about time to help bring some life to the 8 board. Terry's been like a one man show representing the 8's.
As for the front, its the stock csi lower spoiler, but the grills are the factory chromed ones from BMW individual, and the license plate area was filled in with the RD Sport filler piece. I can't say enough bad things about RD sport, but the piece really cleans up the front end and they're they only people that make one so....

Absolutely gorgeous... and a 6-speed, to boot.

That is jizz-tastic.

It's all in the lighting Terry I got lucky, the building in the background acted as a big reflector and kept the shadows from getting to harsh in the afernoon sun. Funny though, I'm always jealous of the light metallic colors like yours that show off the subtle lines so much better than the solid colors

Your 8 is real nice! Very clean too! I think I saw it parked right in front of Herb Chambers on Sunday when I went there to check out Mini's.

Go for it! Or at least test drive that 840 and tell us what you think.
The color is brilliantrot which I think was the typical bright red back in the early '90's for BMW. The interior is the stock black leather, aside from the nakamichi cd-400 I installed. I'll try to get some pictures over thanksgiving, hopefully the engine bay is still clean since I cleaned it up in the spring.
I haven't been to Herb in a while... is there another bright red 8 in the area? That's the second time soneone has thought they've seen me. The first time, I thought the guys at the shop had taken my car for a joyride :
