8 Series (E31) (1991 - 1997) As the last E24 rolled off the production line in 1989, its replacement was quick on its heels to fulfill the fantasies of those looking for a touring coupe with all of the luxury, performance, and prestige of a BMW, only now with both 8 and 12 cylinder engines.

I think it is low enough now

Just need to get the 285's on the back to fill that in a bit more

Thanks guys

H&R springs with a half coil cut off to make up for the K-Mac camber plates in the front. Bilstiens all around.
K-bars and adjustable end links coming this month or next.

The wheels are OZ Novas- 18 x 9 in the front and 18 x 10 in the back. They are no longer made according to OZ's web site, but I saw several sets from other manufacturers at 8 Fest that were real close in appearance.

As a note to those who know the Portland area, there are 3 840s within a bit over a mile of the Hart/Bany corridor between 160th and 185th. We are trying to find out if that is the highest number in a similar area in the US.

There is a Dinan Twin Turbo on E-Bay right now from Lake Oswego-- about 15 miles from here.

The picture is from the local Ducati dealers parking lot where the 8 was joined by an M coupe and an M5 while we were there!

I think he got lowering springs and cut half a coil off because of the camber plates.

Thanks
You have to cut a half coil from the bottom of H&Rs or the nose points up with the addition of the camber plates. They add 3/8"+ of lift to the nose. With Dinans it does not make any difference which end you cut because they are not progressive wound.

Even the tail looks low now!
