Great job!
razahyde GREAT JOB, if i saw those seats before you started restoring them i would not belive it is possible to make them look as good as they look now. if i had an e39 now, i would buy it in a heartbeat
Is there i DIY on how to restore an interior like that?
This looks excellent my question is does it last or how often does it need to be reapplied if so?
WOW! What an amazing transformation! I am very impressed with your hard work that you put into this project. Kudos for you, OP!
uhh this is pretty much a DIY.
all you do is spray the rejuvinator oil and let it sit for 24-48 hours.
once that is on, you clean it off after the 24-48 with the prestine clean.
then you use 400 grit sand paper to remove the old dye and all the dirt on the seats, use the cleaner they supply with the sanding.
once thats done you clean the seats again using the prestine clean.
and at the end you apply the dye in really thin amounts using an extremely fine brush. DO NOT CHEAP OUT ON THE BRUSH THE BRUSH SHOULD BE EASILY $25.
it lasts long as oem lasts.
i bought it from leatherique, hence the product being called leatherique prestine clean...
yea i busted my ass redoing everything, only to have the interior in my car for 5 minutes before i decided i didnt like it haha.
Should have done something cool with it
And two-tone doorcards...
Black seat bolsters, black plastic side pieces...
Seems like a real missed opportunity here...
Came out nice, Raza.
Looked pretty decent in the car, but a little too busy with all the black and caramel imo...(like the above)
Glws!

Great job Raza! I need to do this to my driver seat since it's all cracked and worn out.
Seriously impressed here! Nicely done! Love the interior duo-tone look!

thanks for instructions, did you take any photos of your car with that interior?
The side bolster improvement is amazing. Nice work, thanks for sharing your process too! Did they have ink stains on them or something?
Rules to live by:

- Do it right, or do it twice.
- BMW: Just because you can afford to buy one, that doesn't mean you can afford to own one.
