FS: Full set of 17 x 8.5 SSR Comps - Silver

    SOLD

I think I'm going to sell my set of 17 x 8.5 SSR Competitions (44mm offset) that I've had for a bit now. Perfect fitment for e36's and e46's. I'm running 18 x10's now so I don't really need these anymore. They are virtually flawless, there is only one small chip on one wheel and a small scuff on another (both pictured). They were used strictly as track wheels (no street use), and wiped clean after every event and they are perfectly straight. So they are as virtually new as anything that is pre-owned can be.

As most people on here know they are really light wheels <17 lbs (16.4 lbs a piece from what I remember when I weighted them). As you can see from the pics, these are the silver versions, not the anthracite, and include the SSR valve stems and BMW center caps.

If memory serves me correctly, these were $469 a piece when they were new (without the valve stems or center caps). And these are virtually new / flawless. Asking $1200 for the set (since I haven't seen a set of these go up for sale in a while) or see what I get offered.

Shooting me an email is usually faster than sending a PM.

German cars don't have cupholders for the same reasons coffee tables don't have steering wheels.

Odd that 4x114.3 is cast to the wheel... but the sticker says 5x120. Do they show any signs of being filled and re-drilled?

That's something I've always thought was strange about SSR's. Doesn't matter what the bolt pattern is, they always have different pattern and weight specs stamped in the rim... no matter what the specs. (If I take pictures across the lip, there will be a few different ones) Must just be a trait of theirs.

So no, these are NOT redrilled or anything of the sort.

They're all like that. Those stamps are there just to let you know what other sizes that particular wheel comes in. GLWS!

Sorry, I missed this somehow. I travel a lot for work, but unfortunately not usually in that direction. I might be willing to do halfway or something.
