nice. here's a bit of advise for you....whatever block hugger headers you decide to use, weld a header extension on it so the flange isnt so close to the shaft....it'll be more convenient to bolt up the exhaust and work in that area without so much crap getting in the way.
Monger thanks for all your help!!!!!! i really appreciate you with all the info and answering my questions. do you have any pics of the headers extension you did on your car?
The offset steering shaft looks good man. I was thinking that the Blockhuggers with an extension and/or a v-band flange just below the shaft would be helpful. I wonder if sanderson would oblige?...
i'm using a set of hooker headers but they fit the same way as the sanderson, i cut up the sanderson header then change my mind and used a set of hookers i got from a friend, but the sanderson will work just the same
Hi,
We are asking Sanderson to make the headers you describe. However, they are not block-hugger headers. The extension tube will exit between the steering shaft and the frame rail.
The picture shown below shows how the flange interferes with the steering shaft. With some minor changes made to the header, and with the extension tube, the stock steering shaft can be used.

Sweet!!! but i think i like my set up!!! my next step is the slave cylinder lines, i want to use the stock master cylinder and need to know what you guys used, what lines part # if any. i was on speedway motors and found this lines part #51513922 clutch line and a remote bleeder #5151399, will this work on stock bmw master cylinder?
