4NGIEfest '10

Stone Mountain Park - Atlanta, GA
Rain or Shine!
4ngiefest '10 will be open to ALL GERMAN vehicles this year. But as always, everyone is welcome. Please spread the word and post a linkback here so we can keep up with what's going on in other forums!
What is 4ngiefest you speak of?
4ngiefest started in 2007 as a casual local area BMW fanatic meet. It expanded through venues such as the online car forum community, and magazine articles. In 2008, in association with ClubBimmer.com we drew a crowd of over 300 BMWs and successfully set a record in the Guinness World Record books.
Being the 4th annual 4ngiefest, we are striving to make it appealing to everyone attending. Every year we collect donations and send money to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Through merchandise sales and private donations, 4ngiefest was able to donate nearly $1,300 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society last year and we plane to exceed that again this year.
WHY is it called 4NGIEfest?
Well, because I started it, that's why. Actually, it was named after me by a fellow fanatic because we hope to one day be the East Coast version of Bimmerfest.. although we have a long way to go. Also because saying the 4th Annual Atlanta BMW meet at Stone MountainPark is just too much to say. I hear this question more than anything else..
What's New?
The site has been updated (thanks to AJ - Beingdevious). You can register online. There will be a running list of registrants which shows the person's name, location, vehicle, as well as showing them on a map.

We are in the process of designing new shirts which will be available shortly. We're also working on some other merchandise such as glasses and decals.
We have a couple of confirmed sponsors so far, but we need more. UUC and Tischer have promised to be there, as well as some others.
DJ Bebe will be there showing us his skillz
AJ will be broadcasting a streaming video for those of you who can't make it.
We're supposed to have the entire lot to ourselves this time, so I'm also going to try to organize parking for better photo ops.

sweet videos
I sure wish you would use the same name on all of these different forums.
If that is the plan, I will not be cruising with you guys. I want to get to ATL by 3pm. At that rate you guys won't hit town until 7-9pm. It took us 10 hours last year to drive down because of the food/gas/restroom breaks we had to make. There will be a small group of us heading down earlier.....

There are no planned stops except maybe in TN to meet up with a TN caravan but thats not for sure yet. If we do meet them it will most likely be in Chattanooga I'll post the meeting spot when/if there is one.

Not to rain on this parade here...
Why is the caravan leaving at 5am!? You are not planning on stopping often, and it should only take 6-7 hours at a steady pace.
Its cool man thats a legitimate question.
Well with that many cars any stops we do make for fuel, food, and bathroom breaks all will take a good amount of time. You gotta figure 20 cars with passengers means aprox. 30 to 40 people.
Some people have plans in Atl that night and are picking people up at the airport so they need to be there by 3 or 4 and we wanted to accompany anybody that wanted to go.
Last year we only had 7 cars and with one bathroom stop and two fuel stops took us about 9.5 hrs.
Plus we figured with the possibility of cops, bad weather, any possible car trouble, and traffic its better to be safe than sorry.
