Control Arm/Bushing: Meyle HD v. Lemforder, which one?

Any reason to avoid one or the other. Lemforder parts have always been great on my other BMW's while I know Meyle's quality can vary a bit. Any real world experience one way other the other? Thanks.

I went with the oem lemforder ones, but that was only because I got them with some other items that I decided to just order from one place rather than a few different ones. Either is good tho.

They Meyle are cheaper and I don't do urethane for my wife's wagon. Actually, I don't do it in my track rat M3 either other than my shock mounts.

I did this repair last summer went with the Meyle HD because 1) they had replaceable ball joints (if the ball joints go out there is no need to replace the entire arm), 2) they have solid rubber bushings, instead of the softer OEM ones, I figure should last more than the 60k miles that the OEMs lasted. I heard of some people having problems with squeaking and stiff ride with the Powerflex so I chose not to go that route - and mine's a daily driver, no track or auto-x. The Meyle set I got had the bushings in the carriers (lollipops) and I installed arms and bushings myself (with the help of a friend). So far I am happy with the ride of the car. Too early, of course, to tell about the longevity.

    Thanks.

If you are going to freshen up the rear, it is mainly just the upper and lower outer balljoints?
